It just isn't fair that, even after dieting - I am enormous. It does come in handy sometimes, like for shouldering Samoa out of the way when he is blocking the door. And for forcing Grandma to go on Lab rides by squeezing myself between her legs and walking away with her.

(This is great fun...what you do is find a short person - one where you are almost up to their waist. Then walk between their legs and stand up just as you have them centered on top of you. They LOVE it, and it is a great way to get a full body massage.)

Anyway...what I really want is to be a lap dog. Cookie and Dubs are small enough to be lap dogs, but they don't want to be. They don't like being held all that much.

I do. I would like to be hugged around the clock. Yesterday Mom was sitting in a lawn chair on the porch and I decided it was time for a hug. I pushed myself in as close as I could and then decided I really needed a big hug, so I climbed on her lap. She did hug me, but only for a minute. Seems she was too big for the chair and it started to bow. We need to get a bigger chair. Or mom could drop a few pounds.

I have already DONE my dieting...it's her turn now.

Not only that! But Mom got a phone call from the vet today. Seems we got entered into a drawing and we WON! We don't know what we won, but still. We are going over later to get our pic taken and pick it up.

I'll let you all know what it is!

It wasn't a chair, but it is very nice. It is a jumbo fully supplied first aid kit with all kinds of helpful necessaries neatly stowed in a plastic bin.

And a large nice smelling candle...honeysuckle scent. It is supposed to keep doggy odors from building up.

I hadn't notice any odors, but it seemed to make mom happy.

Is it fur doggie furst aid? We have one of those, but mommy says she hopes we nevfur use it. Hoomans are furry strange.

Yep. For doggies. Mom says she is more likely to use it on herself as she takes good care of us, but is somewhat accident prone.

Savvy Mom is so short she can barely handle me trying to play Tunnel,bol! She to can stand to lose a few herself. Doc said Iwas in good shape for a Middle age grrrl. OOOppps she is reading gotta run! Congrats and Hope Momma enjoys her candle too! Remember they control the food so keep em laughing. Grrrl you look good !
