Birthday: July 4th 2006 Likes: Chasing the cat, watching TV, running with other dogs at the park and beach Pet-Peeves: When the cat jumps on the table, remote control truck, singing ducks and the vacuum Favorite Toy: Besides the cat - lure toy, birdies and bird house Favorite Food: Belly rubs (freeze dried chicken livers) followed by cheese, chicken (or any protein), rice, sugar snap peas. Favorite Walk: Beach Best Tricks: Looking so darn cute, high five, rollover, bang bang (getting shot and play possom), weaving in between legs Arrival Story: It was love at first sight when we we rescued Lavi from the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter in San Diego. She was about 12 weeks. She was an amazing puppy...very little chewing, sleeping through the night, didn't try to kill the cat. By 9 months she was very mellow and hasn't gotten off the couch since (except to go to agility class). Forums Motto: Where's the cat? The Groups I'm In: Duck Dog Club I've Been On Dogster Since:
Well, it has been a week and I have come to understand that the kitten is staying. The little guy runs around like a nut, like he is on drugs or something. At least he is not growling at me or jumping at me.
I understand he is a little guy but I think it would be a lot of fun chasing him. I nailed him this morning and he went tumbling - he was fine. Mom picked him up and loved on him. He didn't run away or anything. He is entertaining...
I knew something was up. Well - it hit the fan. Mom brought home a tiny grey kitty. This thing may be small but you should see how he tries to puff himself up. At first he hissed at me and then he would growl when he came towards ME! I am trying to keep mom or dad between me and it but it comes around the corner unexpectedly sometimes. It is getting better though. He doesn't growl that much at me. I think he is harmless but I am not sure yet.
I deserve some points for trying. I let him sit against my back for a little while. That was until he started vibrating - that totally freaked me out!!
It feels like something is going on. Mom and dad keep saying something about a little brother. Mom even brought home some crazy perch thing covered in carpeting. It is kinda like Namir's old condo. Maybe if I play with them more this whole thing would end?
