Farewell

I am writing this because I need to. Willa was with us for only shy of 5 years. While she was with us I believe she found happiness. When she came she was just awful looking and seemed so unloved. Yet for all that she had spunk and fight in her.

She was my first rescue, when we met my husband actually asked if I was sure about her. I said oh yes she is the one I want. My girl was so sad looking, yet I knew she was perfect for us. You see she came to help me through the loss of Maggie my first Boston and she truly did that.

Willa loved her "ducky" David (my husband) did not especially during the news. Tugg the Pug got pushed around by her all the time. Laser lights amazed her. For that matter if you had a flashlight she was right by your side. She loved to stop and watch construction workers she thought she was a supervisor. They loved to watch her as well. She always managed to hang around my husband when he did work in the house. I think she honestly felt she helped him.

I do not know what life she had before she came to me, but I know she brought great joy to our home. I will miss her, no longer will she be with me as I cook looking for peppers or cukes, you see she loved fruit and veggies. I gave them to her. I shared my Clementines with her.

This is my farewell to her and to all of you hug your four legged buddies, hold them tight for there is never enough time, never enough moments to share and keep and never enough hugs and kisses to give and share

Good by Willa I miss you and know that we will meet once more.

I am so humbled

Once again I have become the "DOG" who rules in my home. Looking back over the years since I have arrived here in my forever home. I reflect on the fun that I have had. But mostly on the love that I both give and recieve.

I must admit that when I first arrived I was scared and upset. After all it was a long journey from my first life with a different family. Here in Southie I got a forever mom and dad. A brand new grammy (who left us in 2009). Oh, and cannot forget Chrstine. (more on her later)

Along with that came Mr. Tugg the Pug and Missy the cat. Then there is my cousins Jack and Cali and Pasly the cat that lives with DJ on the first floor.

I have many friends now and a great and wonderful life. I remember my old family a little bit but find that the longer I am away from them the more I feel as if this home has always been my home. I write this now because I know that the anniversary of my arrival is upon us and that means that I will get special hugs and kisses that day.

Thank you who ever you are that brought me here. I know that my mom and dad are happy to have me.

Long time

Well since my lady has gotten the new job (almost a year now) we not only never see her but when we do she is busy with stuff.
So how do I get her to take a day or two off and just sleep in with me?

Food Fight

Nothing to say about it no one messes with my food dish.

I love veggies, it had cabbage, beets, potatoes, carrots and turnip.

Happy Valentine Day to all, really happy long weekend. Mom and Dad are home till Tuesday cause it is a holiday. What is a holiday any how. Other than the days where we get to eat table food cause it is left over I do not get it.

Mom is working but Missy told you that already. So here she does not get often. Seems that her new job is very busy. But I think she likes it a lot. Because she smiles all the time. I am glad for her especially after the nasty year that she had in 2009.

We like it when mom is happy.
