FOUR YEARS NOW...

I cannot believe it's now four years since I left the earth and flew to the Rainbow Bridge. There has been so much love that is still sent up here...I know my Mommy, Daddy and Grammy keep me alive in their hearts.

My Mommy and Daddy are very heartbroken right now because my sister Chloe Lane joined me here at the Bridge. It is so wonderful to be able to play with Chloe. I always took care of her when I was on earth because she was rescued and came to us with some issues. But now...she plays with me and she doesn't feel any pain or have any anxiety. She came to the Bridge with all of the love from Mommy and Daddy. Those are the only memories Chloe has. All of the love that was given to her. Chloe can't stop chasing butterflies or watching hummingbirds. Her favortie butterflies are the purple ones.

We miss our family but we know our family will never forget us. Someday we will all be together again. Until then...I have Chloe and Chloe has me.

THREE YEARS...

Yep, it's been three years since I left my family. I know they still miss me as much as I miss them. I know I am still in their hearts and minds. I can feel the love way up here at the bridge. They think of me everyday...many times a day. They show it...I feel it...I love it!!!

I see my tree is growing beautifully. It's grown more than twice the size it was 3 years ago when Mommy and Daddy planted it for me. It is always referred to as "Maggie's Tree". My photos are still throughout the house. Mommy has kissed my photo every night for the last 3 years saying, "Mommy misses you Lilo Mouse. Mommy loves you so much". Always in my parents thoughts and hearts.

I miss them terribly. I am happy they are sharing their love with the new babies in their lives... Oliver, Scarlet and Autumn. On my anniversary date January 16th, I heard Mommy say to Daddy, "Maggie broke our hearts when she left us three years ago...No...I take that back. Maggie OPENED our hearts and taught us how to love". My Daddy said, "Yes, that's what our Maggie did".

I continue to live on!

I am having a wonderful time here at the Bridge! Lots of friends and lots of fun and of course...lots of food! The Three "F's"!

By the way, my Daddy and Chloe both shared my birthday so "A Very Special Birthday" to Daddy and Chloe Lane!

I miss my family dearly. I know they are still having a difficult time without me. I do know how much they LOVE ME!! I can feel it every minute of every day!!!

"MAGGIE'S TREE"

My Sweet Little Girl,

I thought you might like for me to share your tree with your pals on Dogster. It is just too beautiful not to be admired by others.

You see Pals, as you know Maggie went to the Bridge on January 16th. We had her cremated and saved her ashes for the Spring. In March her Daddy and I went shopping to find the perfect "Texas Red Bud Tree". We planted it along with our Baby's ashes. In addition we added flowers for the butterflies, honey bees and hummingbirds to enjoy a drink while they sat a spell to visit Maggie Mouse's sweet young tree. They must like to visit because there is always someone sipping. Even a beautiful green tree frog couldn't resist to hold on to a limb. And other little frogs like to hide in the plants where the ground is cool.

Maggie's Daddy and I enjoy watering and caring for her Texas Red Bud. It brings us peace and sometimes tears. Maggie loved the outdoors and she loved flowers too. We'll bet she is looking down from the Bridge and barks with joy at her beautiful tree and visitors.

We miss you so very much Maggie. Mommy's heart will never be the same for there is a part missing that will always be with you.

Birthday Wishes! Birthday Greetings! Birthday Presents!

Hi Everyfurbody!

I just wanted to say a "HUGE THANK YOU" to everyone that wrote me beautiful Birthday Greetings, sent me pawsome Birthday Wishes and some great Birthday Presents!

I had a wonderful time at the Bridge with all of my Pals playing, eating cake and ice cream, swimming and just plain hanging out!

I know Mommy and Daddy were having a bit of a hard time but they also revisited the wonderful memories.

My Mommy tried to thank each one of you separately but she is having problems with the doggie pages showing up. She thinks it is the Dogster Plus pages. Their computer is still on dial up because our home is out in the country.

Hope all my pals see this message and know how much Mommy, Daddy and I appreciate all of the heartfelt words and gifts.

Six Months....

Yes my precious Maggie, it has been 6 long months since I held you in my arms and kissed you. It has been 6 months since you left me!

I miss you so very much. The pain is there every day...even though there are many wonderful memories. I want more!! It still seems like a long horrible nightmare and I hope I will wake any moment...but no!

Your photos and memories are everywhere. The sweet little tree that we planted with your ashes is beautiful. The flowers all around the base are lovely and continue to fill our eyes with sweet colors of red, yellow, pink and green. The hummingbirds continue to visit your tree along with the honey bees, bumble bees, butterflies, dragonflies and even a tree frog or two. Such beauty your memory continues to give us.

Thank you my precious Lilo Mouse for your sweet memories, kisses and unconditional love that fills my heart.

Mommy Misses Her Lilo Mouse!!!!

Oh my sweet precious Mouse,

I miss you so very much!!! My days and weeks are incomplete. My life is torn and broken.

I just can't seem to accept that you are not by my side. I am lost and lonesome and so very sad.

I made a shadow box with some of your special things. Your blankie that I made for you that has your name embroidered on it. You slept next to me with it...always making sure that you were covered completely. You loved to cuddle to go "nite-nite". Your collar and your bone charm that also has your name. Whenever you heard that jingle, you knew it was time to go "by-by". One of your Autumn harness vests that Mommy made for you. You were so adorable in it...you didn't ever mind wearing clothes. Your name in rhinestones on a leather collar. Your little "Build-a-Bear" doggie bowl that always held your meals. Oh how you loved to eat! I loved it when I asked if you were hungary...you would start barking and dancing. You always got your food and treats first because you were the first and the top yorkie in the house!! I could not forget your favorite tattered "squirrel". You hated the squirrels outside so Grammy bought you this. You would take out your frustrations on this poor little plush squirrel. Of course I added a couple of photos of your sweet face! You were so patient whenever I just had to have your picture taken. A few little yorkie stickers and decorations and your shadow box is finished. I want another photo...just have not decided which one.

Daddy and I hung it up in the family room where we all spent our "yorkie lovin' time". Many hugs and kisses...snuggles and belly rubs....chasing toys and kitties...enjoying popcorn and anything else Mommy and Daddy snacked on....and enjoying your puppy beds in front of the fireplace...these things and more were all cherished in our family room.

MOMMY LOVES YOU LILO MOUSE!!! I still tell you every night before bed. I kiss your picture and hold it every night hoping you will come to me in my dreams so I can once again hold you in my arms and kiss you!!!
