For the 100 sled dogs killed in BC

They ran and ran and the tourists smiled
they ran on, for many a mile
They did not whine, but ran with joy
and you could see the smiles on girls and boys
A good days work, the dogs gave it all,
to what reward , not a toy or ball
Just the joy of being a working breed
they did not know, it was really for mans greed .
Would they have given their hearts and worked so hard
if they knew of the grave behind the yard.
And would they still, at sight of man, give a joyous bay
if they knew, in a pit they would end their day.

Jake....thank you for the prayers fur those sweet furbaby souls....I cried a river of tears....
