Arrival Story: Being a first time homeowner, and FINALLY being able to have another dog, I really wanted to get Stitch a buddy. I was kind of looking for a bigger dog though so I'd have a jogging partner and I wanted a girl so I could call her Lilo (so I'd have Lilo & Stitch). So I went to my local Humane Society/Animal Control building and picked out a 4 month old German Shepherd/Lab mix....well she was a handful to say the least....Realizing I couldn't handle a big dog, even though she was a sweetheart, I had to return her and pick out another dog. I went back a week later to see what they had, and I saw this little black dachschund who had the cutest little face ever! My little sister LOVES dachschunds and had been begging me for one even though I explained to her you can't always pick a breed at the pound...but I knew he'd make her happy and he was a little lovebug. So....he came home with me to meet his new little brother that very day! Bio: Snoopy LOVES being a big brother to Lilo as well! We're all welcoming her into our house, and he has been nothing but courteous to her. He even lets her take his toys!!! Stitch could never get away with that...
