Abbey competes in AAC (Agility Association of Canada) Agility and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) Agility. She is the first wire fox terrier to ever achieve the Agility Trial Champion (ATChC) title with the AAC!! In CKC, Abbey has her Novice Agility Dog (AgN) and Intermediate Jumpers with Weaves (AgIJ). She competed in the 2006 Ontario Regional Championships and placed 6th overall. She qualified and went to the 2006 National Championships in BC, Canada ranked 29th and finished 12th overall!!! For 2007 Abbey competed in the Ontario Regionals Championships and placed 9th overall in a very competitive group. I couldn't be more proud of this little terrier! This year Abbey has started to learn Dock Diving. It is quite high off the water but she just loves to swim that she actually jumped! After she did it once, you can't keep her on the dock. She will try Dock Dogs the next time she can :) Check out her personal webpage at tml

So it has been a while since I last wrote but at least I have lots to say now :) Since January I have been working very hard at getting the Q's required for that special title of Agility Trial Champion of Canada. I have now completed my Masters Agility Dog of Canada (MADC) title and have 2 Masters Gamble Q's and 1 Masters Team Q! That means that I am only 3 Q's away from ATChC. I have also been working hard at the Masters Steeplechase Title getting 3 Q's this year and only need 3 more for that title.

So this year I have already made the AAC's top dogs list for 2008 with 11Q's so far and with those Q's I have made it to the Overall Top Dog's List!! Pretty good for a Wire Fox Terrier, don't you think? I am the first wire to ever make that list.

This month is the 2008 Ontario Regionals being held in Ilderton, ON. I am hoping to have a good showing there to qualify to head to Nationals which is being held in Sussex, NB. I will let you know how I do :)

As you can see from my profile, I am a wire fox terrier. I am 5 years old and compete in AAC agility. I am one of a very few wft's that compete here in Canada. My goal this year is to be the first wire fox terrier ever to achieve the title of Agility Trial Champion of Canada (ATChC). This would be the biggest honour ever for my mom and I! Something she never thought we could accomplish when we started our agility career together.

I have been competing in agility for 3 years now and compete in the Masters level in all the games. Only this past weekend I finished my last two Advanced Team Q's to earn my Advanced Games Dog of Canada Title. So the Q's left are: 1 Masters Standard, 3 Masters Team and 3 Masters Gamble (this could be tricky).

Keep your fingers crossed for me to get good courses, good handling and for me to wake up on the right side of the terrier bed the morning on the trial ;)
