Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Today is my birthday!! I am 10 today and Mom gave me ice cream for breakfast!!

Stupid little Flea Bag

When, grandma came over and brought my little uncle "Jake" and he was playing with my brother Iggy. They were crazy and really getting on my nerves!

When Jake left, I started itching and bad! Mom took me to the vet and got me all shot up and fixed up. I have allergies this time of year.

Mom had to bathe Iggy because he got messy (my human sister was sick, and he got in the way) Anyway, she found a flea on him!!! So my little "uncle" brought fleas in the house!! Mom was hot!! Who would think fleas would be around in December in IL?

I think we have things finally under control!!

Summer

Hey everyone!

It has been a crazy spring. It has been cold and rainy. We are very fortunate that we did not get any flooding, but less than 100 miles from here it was very bad and still is.

Mom and I have been gardening and Kobe is getting stir crazy. We haven't been going to Doggie school lately. We just can't seem to get everyone there. Kobe is really missing agility.

Mom is going away in a few weeks, so I am going to have to babysit Kobe and Kirby. The princess has to control the roost!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Yesterday was my birthday and it has been so nice here the past few weeks.

I spent the day hanging out with my brother, chasing rabbits and being goofy. I don't feel like an "old" dog but my joints are starting to hurt if I get to crazy!!

The Fall Flood

We live in Northern IL and the Rock River goes thru our town. We have had so much rain that the river went over flood stage. Mom says that she has never seen it that high before.

So we all went down to the dam and checked it out. That river was going fast!! My human sister and Kobe were scared to death on the dam. Mom and I were just forging ahead! Mom says that I am very adventurous!

Well, it is time for my 9:30 nap!

My stupid little brother!

Okay, he has gotten the lime light for way.... to long. This diary of the day is the final straw!!

Let me remind all of you that I made Kobe what he is today!

When he was a puppy I took him under my paw. I taught him how to go potty, how to bathe properly, how to beg for food and the proper way to manipulate our mom! I even taught him the art of bunny chasing and the correct way to take a ground hog out!!

Without me, he would be just another slobbering mutt!!

Going to the Doctor..... Again!

Mom had to take me to the vet again. She found a lump on my face that was getting bigger. She was so afraid that it was a tumor. (she always thinks the worse, goofy mom)

Anyway, I had an abcessed tooth and it had to be pulled. I was not expecting that at all! I went to the doctor and the same day mom left me there! She didn't even warn me. I did get to go home that night and I was a little woosey for a while. Kobe must of known what was up because he was very nice to me.

I am all better now and the swelling is down and I have beautiful white teeth! They cleaned them at the same time, what a deal!!

We are going CAMPING!!

Mom told me that we are going camping in a couple of days! I love camping! We get to rock climb, swim and eat lots of Marshmellows!!

This year will be extra special because Kobe has never been camping. He is kinda wimpy so it will prove to be soooooo entertaining!

I will keep you posted when I get back!!

Happy Birthday to Us!!

In the past few weeks both Kobe and I had a birthday!! I am 8 now and Kobe is 2yrs old!!

We got cookies and got to go for a walk in the park. It was a great time!!

It rained alot today, so all I have done is sleep. That's okay. A girl can never get to much beauty sleep!!

Spring has Definately Sprung in Northern IL!

Hi Everybody!

I have been very busy the last few weeks! Mom has been putting in a new Rose Garden and I have been SUPERVISING!! I make sure all the holes are deep enough and make sure that there are no toads, bunnies or other vermin snooping around.
So far so good!

This weird weather is really doing a number on my shoulder. It hurts when I walk sometimes and sometimes when I get up. Mom has been giving me lots of peanut butter with "miracle stuff" in it that makes me feel soooo much better!

Well tomorrow is going to be another nice day so I better rest up. There are Bunnies to chase and gardens to protect!!
