the mind of a baby dobe...

what a way to end the month!

today, dad and mom took me to another one of those 'social gatherings'. dad seemed really excited to go, because he's been constantly talking about a certain dobe specialist named Jackie Perry. however, Ms Perry was not able to make it, and had to be replaced at the last minute. dad and mom were a bit disappointed, but they were in for a surprise... i was given 4 ribbons! dad and mom had been beaming since then, and kept on calling me Grand Champ. =)

the day ain't over yet. on our way home we were met by water - lots of water! it's weird that dad parked the car a few blocks away from our place. mom got out of the car with the big umbrella, while dad and i met the rain as we jumped into the water! boy, that was fun! but it came as a surprise when i was given a bath right after we arrived home. i was really hungry, i'd rather have dinner first. i gotta give it dad and mom though, cos i so loved the tasty meal they gave me after my bath! yummmm-my!

busier but happier

from the time i last set foot in my old place, my weekly activities have changed...

after four once-a-week sessions with that guy, i started going to this sort of 'social gathering' every weekend. dad and mom seem to wanna see how i would do, and we never stopped going to those gatherings once we got started. unless, of course, they have something else to do.

these days, i get to spend more play time with dad and mom. i would also love to play with 'baby' more often, but mommy keeps on giving me a different look when i get too close to it. i wonder why...

a new beginning

the little thing was getting bigger, and it doesn't make as much noise any more. dad and mom calls it 'baby' too, so sometimes i get confused if they're actually calling 'it' or me.

anyway, it was during those times - a couple of months before i turn 2, when dad and mom decided to bring me to this place with a lot of dogs. there they met this guy who kept on looking at me. mom made me walk back and forth as this guy talked to dad. mom even gave my leash to this guy, but i refused to go with him. i don't walk with strangers!

after a week, dad and mom took me for another car ride. we were back at their godparents place! this time, i wasn't met by my sisters but by the same guy they met the previous week.

it was the beginning of my frequent visits to my old place.
