Agility Star...sort of

I've been going to agility classes now and have been having SOOOO much F-U-N! Me and mama go on Sundays (I went today, though, cuz on Sunday we got a fundraiser thing going on). Daddy went the past two times and took some pix of me. I have my own 'practice' equipment at home so me and mama practice. It is sooooo totally awesome-pawsome! There are big dogs in my class and I am, like, the star (sorry, not to be braggin' but the big dogs are like scared of stuff!). Today's class had two little guys, more like my size, and they were brothers. They were cute! Funny thing? They liked to do the stuff together! tee-hee!

New Dog Food!

Hey, there's a new dog food that you may want to try. It's called Rotations and it is a really good-quality food that has all natural ingredients, no corn, no fillers, and is quite tasty. Even persnickety ol' me likes it. Mama has been using for me as a treat for when we practice during training and she even adds a few pieces of kibble in with my raw food. mmmm....The box contains three bags of kibble: lamb, salmon, and chicken and its called 'rotations' cuz you can rotate amongst all three. Summer is almost over...

OH NO!

I can tell that summer is almost over. How can that be? The sun is still shining. The butterflies are still out. We have gazillions of caterpillars in our bathroom and mama is busy feeding 'em all the time. Daddy smells like the beach. (well, he ALWAYS smells like the beach)

How do I know summer is almost over? The signs are there. Yep, they are.

I've been with mama to her classroom. We've been going there a LOT. Like, every day. Instead of going to the park. Or out to breakfast. Or out for a drive. Or...

*hmph*

It just isn't fair. Why is summer so short? When summer ends mama has to go to school ALL day again and I can't go with her. It just isn't fair!

It's official

Yep, it is now official. Not only do I have my title of A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen but I have also passed the Therapy Dogs, International Inc. test. Yippee! It was a tough one, to be sure, cuz there were all these other dogs there and I think the examiner was confusing me and mama with someone else (she said she heard mama repeating the commands but we all know I do my work with hand signals only! rarely a verbal command from mama who is really strict with things like that so that daddy calls her the 'sheriff') so we got double-tested to be sure and I passed. Yippee! Felix, my pal from Therapy Dog school, thought I'd have NO trouble passing...I wish he'd have been there...

Anyhoo, I made it and that's all that matters, right? I am really glad. It is awesome cuz I even get my own driver's license. I had to have my picture taken and everything.

What? OH no! Mama just said I don't get a driver's license but I get an ID card. Oh. I thought I could start driving...it LOOKED like a driver's license...maybe I can still use it and take out the car...

hmmm...maybe I can talk mama into moving to Ontario...just for the summer (I don't like cold weather, despite my long hairdo!).
