Arrival Story:
we were actually looking for a dog, which in our case is very rare. we saw his picture on petfinder.com and had to meet him. we adopted him with the intent to train him to be a service dog...so far we have encountered some speed bumps along the way

Bio:
he survived a brush with death in the form of a GDV, or "bloat" 3 weeks after he was adopted. after 4 hours in emergency surgery, 17 pounds weight loss, and 4 months recovery, Buck is now a happy, healthy boy, recently putting on sufficient weight to make him look like a dog instead of a skeleton
