It was quite the week, pups! I know you know what I mean when I say that three days of doggie daycare in a single week can really tire out a pup. I also know that you know what I mean when I say, "Welcome, Mud Season."
Yes, even here in my urban environs I have been known to appreciate an excellent muddy field or two.
Today, Friday, my last day this week at doggie daycare, we had quite the rain storm. For the most part, today's playtime was in the indoor playspace, but my staff, being the excellent caretakers they are, realized that we needed to get out during breaks in the weather to take care of business.
Pups, I did the best "taking care of business" of my entire life. As soon as my staff opened that door, I shot out into Mudville, completing my zoomies in record time, rolling in the mud, and burrowing my "snout" (as if).
My staff was in the process of cleaning me up when Mom came through the door to pick me up. Most of my body was clean, but they had not yet tried my head (really, pups, anyone who knows me knows that, unless your name is Mom, coming at my head with a towel is likely to leave you short a hand or two).
I trotted out of there with Mom, muddy head and all!
Yours in cuteness,
Abby
