Just like me. :)

I wanted to send a huge, huge angel hug out to all of my great pals for being so sweet and thinking of me on my birthday. All of us angel pups are partying like the rock stars we are (Cookie is on drums). Lots of food and cake and drinks that make us burp. Good times, all thanks to my pals.

Before I go to bed, I have to make sure I look down on my mommy and tell her to stop her snifflin' and have some cake for me.

Happy Birthday to meeeeeee!!!

Long time no woof!

Pups! Pups! Pups! I feel the need to apologize for being so lacksidaizical (errr...) about my diary entries. I have been super duper busy and having too much fun here at the Bridge to let you all know I have been thinking of all of you and thanking you for your friendship.

My birthday was faboo! Lots and lots of parties, bones, stories and good times! I appreciate all of your happy birthday wishes, and am sorry for waiting so long to say thanks.
So, THANKS!!

My Bridge Crossing Anniversary was last week (Thanksgiving...). Again, lots and lots of fun times for all of us angels! Mommy was sad though. She was all boo-hooing about me, and generally being silly. The leaves started to fall off the trees in Texas, so that made Mommy think of me more than usual. I love, love, love running through the piles of leaves... it tickles my belly! Try it sometime :) So, when Mommy was outside and saw the leaves piling up - you guessed it - boo hoo city!

My friend Louie told me that it's okay to tell me Mommy to quit her cryin'! I'm happy! I've got friends! No tears Momma! Eventually she calmed down, although I think that had more to do with the gin and tonic she had with dinner.

Anywag, thanks again to all my pals for all the happy thoughts and well-wishes!

Happy Holidays!

It's been awhile...

since I've instructed my minions...er, I mean Pup Pals to do something. So, I thought it was time to ask/tell/instruct you pups to go check out Willie and his sister Luna(sorry - too lazy to Link to Luna's page)! Luna just arrived at her furever home on Sunday after her Poppa made the long journey to pick her up!

They are both very, very cute!

So, go!!

Do it!!

Now!!!

Well, Lookit that!!

I am THE Diary of the Day! Not A Diary of the Day, but THE Diary of the Day!
It's pretty surprising, considering I have been too busy partying and eating and sleeping and eating and partying... ahem, to update my diary lately.

We have been super duper busy lately! Cheyenne, Louie, Ernie George, and our latest arrival CHARLOTTE!! Lots and lots of wings to make, parties to plan and kegs to tap :)
Fortunately, Stryker and Raffles are experts at keg tapping!
Louie has been sharing his foodie skills with me. I'm learning how to actually taste the food, instead of just gulping it down. Yum!
Ernie is a blast! He refuses to take off his wings, which is fine with us, cuz it took us a long time to retrofit Mastiff wings for a Scottie with a badonkadonk like his! He can wear his wings as long as he wants :)
Brutie's friend Lil Girl is waiting for her new pair of wings. She has been getting around great without them so far, but don't you think she would look faboo with some pretty angel wings?? Anyone who knows how to make some wings for Lil Girl???

That's about it for now. Charlotte just got here, and we need to make sure she knows where the Frisbee and tennis ball stash is!
Thanks to all my pals for making me feel so special!

All Nighter!

Whoa!
So we got the word from The Official Higher-Ups that Ernie George was ready to make his way up to the Rainbow Bridge. He needed his wings ASAP! We had a rough prototype done, but not the final product. We wanted to make sure the wings were perfect, so all of us angels pulled together and stayed up all night to make the final version.
Cheyenne was able to rally all of us pups to stay up all night! It's for Ernie George!

"For Ernie!" we would holler if one of us would start to feel a bit sleepy! Fortunately, Raffles was also there, to provide comic relief. Laughter keeps you awake, pups, remember that.
Food also keeps you awake...Louie made sure to bring us our sustenance throughout the night.

By the morning, we had made a beautiful pair of angel wings for Ernie George! Woo-hoo!

Go team, go!

And also, welcome Ernie!

2 years ago today...

2 years ago today I decided that I was just too gosh darn tired to stay with my mommy.

I made the trip to The Rainbow Bridge and have been at peace ever since.

I have made so many great, great pups and have been part of a great adventure (thanks Cookie!!)!!

I am content.

I just wish Mommy could be as content...

p.s. yesterday at The Turkey Trot - they saw a doggie that looked JUST LIKE ME ('cept he was about 20 pounds lighter). Momma smiled so big I thought her teeth would fall out :)

Today is my birthday!!

Comfort?

Mommy and The Man went to a Psychic Fair yesterday. More for poops and giggles, than anything else. But, they did have psychics, clairvoyants, etc. available for readings.

Mommy decided to take a chance and book a session with one of the psychics. She wanted to check on me.

Yeah. Almost 2 years since I left for the Bridge and she still worries about me.

The psychic asked her what info she needed. She quickly told him that I had died 2 years ago and she wanted to make sure I was okay.

Psychic Man quickly told her that dogs are re-incarnated almost immediately.

He said this as if she should be comforted by this idea. Almost as if this was the answer to all her problems.

He was ready to move on. Mommy was not.

She thought about it....

Would the idea of me being re-incarnated ease her sadness??

Actually.... no.

Is that weird?

If I was re-incarnated, who, exactly is she saying good night to everynight?

Who is playing darts with Stryker?

Why is helping at Flying Paws Dictation?

Hmmm.

Not the answer she was wanting.

But on the bright side, apparently Mommy (in one of her past lives) played a pretty big role during the Middle Ages!

A gift, and a curse

My belly.

It was perfect for rubbing.

I would gladly offer it up to anyone who needed to rub it. Mommy called it my "Buddah Belly".

Even the strongest of men were powerless against my belly!

The curse...

Because I had such a faboo belly, Mommy had taken to giving me zerberts (you know, pfthhhht) on my belly, right by my upper arm pits. She said she couldn't resist.

It tickled. It always made me look at her with my crazy eyes.

Well now, it seems, Sammy is the recipient of the belly zerberts. Apparently he has a faboo belly too!

The first time she did it, Sammy looked at her, put his paws together to form a "t" - indicating he needed a time-out.

What.
Just.
Happened?!?

He walked off, shaking his head.

Sorry buddy, that's the price you pay for having an irresistable belly!

Hatred

We don't have hatred up here at The Bridge. It's kinda nice. Everyone is always happy and loved -even the yappy poodles :)

Mommy, however, experiences hatred. Normally she says she tries to "work on this" and turn the hatred into something more useful. The Man has worked really hard with her on this. Really hard.

Mommy says that her hatred towards Michael Vick will never change.

Normally, Mommy isn't one to be quiet or keep her feelings about something in. But, when she thinks about what she would ever say to this guy if she ever ran into him... her hatred is so strong, she can come up with nothing to say. Just rage. Fists-of-fury-rage.

Kick-him-in-the-nuts-rage.

Hatred. I think in this instance, it is well-earned.
