He belonged to one of my cousins, who couldn't keep him anymore.
Bio:
My cousin, his first owner, and his roommates had unfortunately trained Bud to jump for food and treats, and it took a good long time for him to get over this habit. He loved to go for walks, and hated it when he saw or heard anyone on the road--he'd make that miserable mournful moan/howl that Malamutes do. He loved to follow anyone who was out cross-country skiing or snowshoing, and had the bad habit of stepping on the back of the skis or snowshoes and making you fall down. He was a good dog--not the brightest light on the tree, but a good dog.
