Dear Moses,
"They say memories are golden"..... You, my sweet boy, were golden through and through. Sweet, loyal, with a heart as big as the great outdoors. You were always there for me, always loved me best, always stayed by me, always stayed true to me. I can't believe your life ended so prematurely and so abruptly. I can't believe that you aren't there to greet me after a hard day with that gently waving tail and that smile on your face. Two black dogs remain to greet me, but my eyes still search for "the golden one". They always will. How I long for my furry golden "pillow" when I watch t.v. after everyone else has gone to bed and left me alone. Not you, my Moses, you never left me alone, you always stayed near me. How I wish I could fondle your ear once more. How I wish I could watch you swim one more time with that look of sheer ecstacy on your face. I long to see that funny curled lip when you wondered if we were going to share whatever it was we were eating. It always made us laugh. I will never stop missing you, Moses. You loved much. You were much loved.
