It's been a while

The last we heard, I was taking yeast medicine. It successfully got rid of the yeast, but I was still itching all over and waking my parent’s up in the middle of the night. My dad took me back to Dr. Jeromine (she’s the best doctor ever!) and we did a skin test. I thought it would be much worse, but they were giving me lots of attention, so I was all good.

I’m not allergic to anything! Good news. The bumps are just a bacterial infection, so I’m on an antibiotic for a few weeks. I’m feeling much better, I’m sleeping through the night. Hopefully this is really the last of it!

Now that I’ve mastered Obedience classes, I’m on to Agility! It’s the best! We have so much fun running around and going through the tunnels and chutes. The teacher says that I’m the best, and it’s just an unfair advantage that the other dogs are smaller than I am and can run through the chute without bumping their heads. It’s great fun though! I can’t wait ‘til next week.

Gibson’s getting bigger, and he’s getting into a lot of trouble! He chewed the wood on the breakfront. I thought Weenie was going to throw a temper tantrum. I can’t believe that he still does that. I chewed one flip flop (and a cheap one at that) and I’ll never do that again. Mommy’s shoes are not toys for me.

An end to my ickiness!

We finally got an appointment for the allergist in Cleveland. She thinks that I was sick because I got a yeast infection that shut down my immune system. I'm taking yeast pills now, which are much better than the steroids that I was on before. Hopefully it'll clear everything up and I can go back to eating normal food and good treats!

Side note from Web's mom: Thanks to everyone who wrote about all the different things they've tried! I'll let you know if this fixes everything!

Lot's of new things to tell you!

Story 1:
My mom and dad went out of town for 10 days and luckily I didn't have to go to the kennel. I went to stay with my mom's family. They have Gibson, so I got to play all day, and then slept in my own bed every night. I missed my mom and dad, but everyone kept telling me that they would be home soon. They got home really late, but they stayed up to play with me! I was so excited that they were home!!! Nothing is better!

Story 2:
I've never actually seen another Weimaraner since I left the my brothers at the Humane Society. I guess the mirror doesn't count. So when we were walking with Gibson by his house, my parent's were really excited that a car pulled up and asked how old I was. I was pretty mad because we turned around like we were going to end our walk... but Skye came out to play. She's the nicest friend! We played in her backyard and had a great time! Her mommy is pregnant and so all of her weim cousins were going to be in to play. I'm so jealous that she gets weims to play with. If only I had more weimie friends to play with outside.

Story 3:
My parent's don't hunt. I'm just a compainion dog... which is good because I like to lay on the couch and cuddle. But yesterday I went outside with mommy and there were baby bunnies. My dad was picking them up with the shovel and putting them in the forest and there was one that got away. I got down on my stomach and crept nice and slow until I found it. But I wasn't done yet. I found one that had gotten away. Mommy was SO proud of me that I was able to find them all for daddy.

Last but not least... thank you all for telling me about your skin problems! My bumps haven't come back yet, and mommy tells me that's a good thing. I'll let you know what the allergist says when I go there, just in case someone else has the same problems that I do.
