Arrival Story:
We always wanted a dog but we lived in an apartment that only allowed cats (discriminatory I know). Anyway so once we bought our first house and found out it came with a fence and next logical step was to have an addition of a puppy to our family. So finding puppies at the time was difficult for some reason. All the pounds had no puppies. We found an add for yellow lab puppies in the paper so we called and made an appointment. Well once we got to the breeders there were 5 male yellow labs left. It was so hard to choose since they were all sooo cute. (the puppies looked just like the dog on the canine advantix commericals or charmin) So we didn't want the biggest puppy so we got the second biggest - and we picked him since he was very friendly and he had the neatest white strip on his forehead down to the nose. And that is how Tucker came apart of our family.

He graduated from Puppy Training, Basic I, and Advanced I. In Advanced I he graduated with Honors.

Tucker's Terrific Tales

Good News!

HI All,

First I want to thank everyone for their well wishes, rosettes, and prayers. They are very much appreciated! The great news is it turns out that the cyst is not cancer. (If confused read diary entry below this one) It turns out that it was just extra tissue/cartilage. Tucker must have hurt himself as a pup and as the cut healed it just kept growing and growing. (It has a technical name but its long) Basically it was hyper-extended. So now that it is removed it shouldn't come back and all is well. We are very relieved and happy and so is the vet too.

Woof from a very relieved and happy lab,

Tucker

Hi All,

Yesterday I had to go get surgery to get a cyst that was growing in my mouth out. I had it for a few years and the vet was watching it. It kept growing and getting bigger so the vet and my parents decided it was time to get it out. It was sent out to get biopsyed and to make sure it isn't cancer. We will know the results in about a week. We are all praying that it isn't cancer!

Ok time for a nap!

Woof,

Tucker

I met santa!

Hi All,

Well last weekend I got my picture taken with santa! I told him I have been a real good lab - a little mischievous at times but nothing too out of the ordinary. I smiled for my picture and even got my little human bro to not be scared of santa. (last year he cried but not this year) We both got pictures taken with the guy in the red suit. Then they were giving free dog toys out after meeting with Santa. Oh boy oh boy it was the best!

Wishing everyone a very joyous holiday season!

Woof,

Tucker
