I've been complaining about not being allowed to drive a car since I was a puppy. I think I would be a better driver than many of the humans. I even know that you are supposed to stop for a red light. I used to get impatient and want to go when I was a puppy, but Mommy explained to me that you have to wait for the light to turn green before you go. Therefore, you can imagine my happiness when I saw this news item about a shelter in New Zealand that is literally teaching dogs to drive a car. I am so excited. I only hope that the humans will realize that we dogs should be allowed to drive cars now that these dogs have proven we know what we are doing. Here is the link:

A dog needs his own car--the human's car is probably not a fun car to drive anyway. This dog wants the Batmobile which is going up for auction soon!
