Cats-- particularly her nemesis, our neighbor's cat Cheeto, chirping squirrels, power tools, anything that beeps, the lack of an opposable thumb, when the phone rings--she knocks the receiver off the hook on purpose

Weezel, rawhides/greenies, a stuffed squirrel & a big orange stuffed carrot

Doggie treats, rawhides, peanut butter, popcorn, cheese.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere at the beach or alongside a bicycle, but she really likes Redwood Regional, Joaquin Miller, Tilden, Sibley Volcanic & Fort Funston.

Best Tricks:
Houdini-like escapes; balancing on anything-- no matter how narrow or unsturdy; opening baby-proofed cabinets & window locks.

Arrival Story:
We saw her at a rescue group's adoption fair in Berkeley in February 2004 & were instantly taken by her lopsided ears and stubby tail. We adopted her the next day and have been smitten ever since.

Bio:
Kermit is probably the smartest & most energetic dog we've ever owned. She knows a ton of commands, which she follows when we're around. At the same time, she's also the most mischievous and the most headstrong -- will try to get away with anything when she thinks that she's not being watched. We're constantly reminding her that she's not the alpha in the pack.
