Likes:
I LOVE my family and my home! I am definitely a 'velcro Vizsla!' I have to be in the same room with mom and dad at all times! No privacy-even in the bathroom! I'm a 50 pound lap dog! I LOVE my comfy bed!

Pet-Peeves:
I hate it when you blow on my head, or if the cat gets any attention when I am around. Really, I can hold my pee-no way am I going out in the rain!!!

Favorite Toy:
I love my nylabone, my kong, my booda bones, and all tennis balls! Oh yeah, I think the sofa is my chew toy too!

Favorite Food:
I'm not really excited about treats, but I love my Science Diet doggie food. I recently acquired a taste for popcorn too!

Favorite Walk:
Walking, no way! Running in the park around the lake or chasing the cat around the house at lightning speed!

Best Tricks:
I'm a great heeler, I sit well, and I lay down when you tell me to. If you ask me where my toy is I'll run and get ya one!

Arrival Story:
Before I was born my Mom and Dad had another Vizsla who they loved very much, Dakota. Dakota, suddenly passed away of cancer in July at the young age of 7 years old. Mom and Dad missed him dearly. He was also a Vizsla rescue. He came from the North Texas Vizsla Rescue. In November '05, Mom and Dad decided they were ready to bring a new dog into their lives, not to replace Dakota, but to give them someone to love. They found me on the Show Me Vizsla Rescue website in Missouri. After many phone calls and emails, they decided that I was the family member they were needing in their lives. They say that I have been such a joy and they love me sooooo much! They say I have boundless energy and such a sweet personality! I know I am a handful at times, but Mom and Dad say they wouldn't trade me for anything!

Bio:
Sadly Maverick passed away 6/25/2009. Our hearts are broken and we miss him terribly! Maverick became very ill. We tried for months to help him heal, but God called him home last week. We are glad that our sweet boy is now pain free and he has peace.
