A game of tag!

Hi!

I just got tagged by my new GSD friend Biscuit in a fun game of tag that's going around Dogster! Here's how to play!

When you get tagged, write a new diary entry that includes 7 pawesome surprising things about yourself, and a list of 7 of your buddies that you're going to tag. Then write a diary entry explaining how to play the game, and send a paw-mail or a rosette to your seven pals telling them that they've been tagged by YOU and that they can go to your diary on your page to read about how to play.

It's free, it's fun, and I need a break from service dog training anyways!

So, here are my 7 Logan Fun Facts!

1. I am finally going to graduate from service dog school in less than two weeks! Mom and me start our two week team training on June 11 and then have to pass a public access test to be official. It's been almost two years of training, can you believe it?!

2. I can hold a hot dog in my mouth and give it up even with my yellow Labbie sister licking the end of it! And a raw egg too! (but not together!)

3. When my mom says "shhh" in my face I do the wigglebutt dance and wag my tail. I don't know why, there's just something about that sound that makes me happy!

4. I've dabbled in canine musical freestyle and mom and me hope to get good enough at it to do demos and maybe even compete someday. It's a good break from service dog work!

5. I love peanut butter!

6. I burp! But mom says it's the cutest burp she's ever heard.

7. I will be the first Golden Retriever to graduate from my service dog school, all the rest have been Labs. Nothing against Labs (my three foster sisters are Labs) but it's about time! I know we're not as wash and wear but I personally think we're worth it. ;)

The 7 Dogster pals I'm going to tag are:
1. Seamus, we went to puppy play group together
2. Ryder, the handsomest Shiba on the North American continent including Canada!
3. Hope, my Land of Pure Gold friend with the mesmerizing eyes
4. Lady Izabelle, Hope's sister who is smart AND pretty
5. Sinbad the coolest looking dog in the world
6. Tigerlily, canine freestyler extraordinaire and a Barbet. Do you know what a Barbet is?
7. Noah, my first crush and service dog friend

Keep the game going!

Woof!

A day at the farm!

What a fun day I had today with both my families! We went to a local sugarhouse where you can see how they make maple syrup, as part of Maine Maple Sunday. Now this was the real stuff, no Aunt Jemima here!

Boy did they have some funny looking dogs there! Big smelly ones that they called Cows. And these funny fuzzy ones that kept staring at me, I think they called those Sheep. And they even had this really weird little gray guy with hard pointy things growing out of his head, poor thing. I think he was called Goat. I'm just glad I'm a Golden Retriever!

Mom said I did really well. Of course I was a little curious but I did my "sits" and "downs" right in front of those weird looking dogs. They didn't seem too impressed (to tell you the truth they seemed a little, ummm slow.) The Cow ones just kept chewing, the Sheep ones kept staring and the Goat one had the weirdest bark I've ever heard, I think he had something caught in his throat.

Greetings from Maine! Logan here, and as you probably know I'm training to be a service dog. For those of you who don't know what a service dog does, we primarily help people with mobility challenges, either with balance and walking or those that use wheelchairs and scooters. Most people know about guide dogs for the blind but there are also hearing dogs and seizure response dogs. We can be any breed or size. Technically we're all considered "assistance dogs".
