Sorry it took me so long to write, I know it's been a week today since I came up here to The Bridge. It's just been such a whirlwind!! First, I came up here, I was greeted by a group of guys I remember well from here on Dogster. Pongo and I made plans to hit all the food hot spots. Then, I felt something, I looked around, I sniffed the air. That's when I saw him!!! Jimmy!!!! I screamed "JIM", he screamed "LOUIE", and we started running towards each other. Tears were streaming down my face, my brother, my long lost brother! It felt like it took forever to reach each other, and when we finally did that stinkin' SOB squeaked a ball right on my little head! Then it was ON!! Fists of Fury time! After about an hour he stopped sitting on me and said "OK, c'mon, let's go. I'll show you around." He took me over to a cliff and told me to look over, when I did I saw my mom,she was crying. I went to her and told her to knock it off, quit being such a baby. Doesn't she know where I am??? With Jim? And all this food?? Here at The Bridge you don't have to worry about putting on a pound, so guess who gets to eat to his hearts content? And anyways, I'll be watching her, I'll still take care of her. And then Jim said, " I have another place to show you" we went over by this lovely stream, there was a rainbow. And at the end of the rainbow? My sweet Sunny Lee!!! Finally, I was right next to her! And, may I add, her pictures do NOT do her justice! Beautiful, stunning, magnificent!!! I couldn't help it, I had to give her a kiss. I will DEFINITELY be back to see her! After that Jim took me back to the party staging area, it was so cool! There were streamers and balloons and a big sign that said "Welcome Lou!" And what's a party without food? There was steak, chicken, chorizo beans, you name it, it was there!!!! I have been to many a restaraunt since I got here and I'll tell ya folks, they all get 4 out of 4 paws!!! Anyways, I gotta go, I have lunch plans. Thank you all so much for the kindness and love you have shown my mom and I in the last week, we really appreciate knowing that you all care. PEACE!!!!!

OMD! SO happy to hear from you! I know you have been busy since you came to see me last Tuesday. My mom didn't even know you had gone to the bridge and joined me at the rainbow. She decided to take me (us) to the park and she grabbed my collar and smelled it (she never does that). Nope...she said, this one stinks and then she grabbed the collar you sent me. I hadn't worn that collar in weeks but I wore it as we went to the park. You and I had so much fun frolicking around the park. Mom told Lori the story about when you pooped on Brady's housebreaking pads. When we got home, mom logged onto FB and found out you were at the bridge. You and I sat with her while it sank in. Then, I know you went off to WI to visit Pepper and Rusty as a beautiful black butterfly and you were a rainbow on Nelly's wall. I am so glad Jimmy is showing you how to watch over all of us. He is doing a good job! I know from Stryker that the mexican food fiesta was some party and that he is now addicted to chorizo beans.

Have fun, my love and remember that my heart will always belong to you.

Love,
Sunny Lee

Lou! So glad to hear you made it there safely! The food sounds pawtastic, I think I might be just a little jealous. Good to know you're watching over your Mom, we are too. And so is *um* Brady, I suppose.

PS: Lucy wants to know if there is any chocolate up there?

Have fun at the Bridge, Louie. Please say hi to my fursis, Whitley, for me. She'll be the one eating any cheese up there. Hugs to you at the Bridge.

Great to hear from you Louie. It's nice to know you got there all safe and sound. Have you run into my dog Mom Cheyenne yet? She would be anywhere there is good barbeque. If you see her tell her we say hi and that we miss her. Sending hugs to you and your family.

Awww, Louie. Although we miss you like the dickens down here on earth, I'm sure there is extra laughter and less food at the Bridge. Let your mom feel your presence occasionally. It will make her feel better. We'll keep an eye on her as well. Much love to you all...

Awww, I knew it was a big bash up there at the bridge for you, pal!
It's tough for us still here on Earth, you know, we're missing you something terrible. I'll tell ya, Lou, who else can commiserate with me about my mean mom? Who else understands the respect and old guy deserves (ah, the day you took over the chaise, great memories, pal!)? Who else gives an outstanding restaurant review?
well, anyway, my mom's eyes are leaking from missing you but we all knew you'd be happy up there! Take it easy, pal, and don't be a stranger BOL!

Hey Lou..

I woke early to have my beloved coffee this morning and almost choked when I was reading the "Rainbow Post"

The headlines went like this...

FIESTA GONE WILD

"The Rainbow Post reports that what started as a simple Fiesta turns into a all out Welcome Bash as well known food critic LOUIE crashes the pawty. With his Brother Jimmy, furends Stryker,Pongo,Tinny,Jordan, Kirby, Whitley,Cheyenne, Cookie and of course Rosie in tow, they brought laughter, line dancing, piniatas (looked like Leviticus), a Mariachi Band, and Lots and Lots of food. Work of Lou's arrival even brought out the famous Chefs from the Chow Channel.
All the stars were there making this one of the most celebrated events of the year. The Rainbow Post also reports an unidentified source close to Lou stated the reason he left so suddenly was, he couldn't say good bye to his beautiful Girlfriend Sunny Lee. "He knew he had to go as he was needed at TRB but didn't want to break her heart". He now watches over her every single minute.

The Rainbow Post says" WELCOME LOUIE ' The party has just begun.....
