Take from Shane's site! Shane's wish
Shane Bernier is a courageous seven-year-old boy from Lancaster, Ontario who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was only five. On June 6th, 2006 Shane and his family received some unfortunate news: Shane experienced a relapse after completing 108 of 130 weeks of treatment.
However, despite the bad news, Shane has managed to keep a positive outlook on his situation and has made a heart-warming wish... He hasn’t asked for money or toys or anything of the sort. Instead, his birthday is on May 30th and he would like to break the world record for the most birthday cards ever received. His goal is 350 million cards. With every card, Shane’s courage grows. Something as simple as sending a birthday card could be enough to help Shane find peace and joy in his current circumstances.
Please take the time to send a card to Shane and make his dream become a reality. Share his story with your friends, family and co-workers. If at all possible, get your youth groups, church congregations, employees, neighbours or communities to set aside a few minutes to write a thoughtful note to Shane.
With every card, Shane’s smile grows...

You see pups, we moved into a new apartment this weekend. It's a really nice apartment and we may even have our own room/guest room! We will still cuddle with mommy/daddy at night. But it all happened either Saturday night/Sunday morning...You see mom put my entire collection of tennis balls in a shopping bag to take to our new apartment. I had like 40 or 50! Well my asked dad to grab the bag and bring it. He must have thought it was trash and put it in the dumpster. Well mom didn't realize this until I went looking for all my tennis balls and my favorite one at that. She did have 3 in a suitcase that was a gift from a pal on dogster. But I think my dad needs to be taken away in handcuffs! This is SIN! He broke a law and needs to be punished!
Please call the SWAT team in to our apartment. Pmail for all my dads information and where they can locate him. I sure hope he has more than one life. You know how cats have 9! Wonders if dads do too!
I'm so depressed and upset about my collection being gone. I pouted ALL DAY the last 2 days! I want my tennis ball back. It's not fair! Mom told me I could have a dollar a week allowance and that can buy me tennis balls and eventually I will have my collection back to where it was but that is not good enough. My favorite tennis ball of al times is gone. I'm very grateful I do get an allowance and my collection can start growing again but my favorite tennis ball is gone.

His name is Rondo! He is a long hair doxie! He is so handsome and makes my face blush and my paws sweat! He loves tennis balls and i knew, he was the perfect Valentine when I found this out...cause I LOVE tennis balls! I have at least 20! I know how many, I have!
But I'm going out shopping for him and buying him the perfect toy! 'Cause he is my love muffin!
Ok, I'm sure most of you are curious about the Poncho Trial, well...he is driving this doxie insane! I do believe he is innocent. What ever he has told me is client/lawyer privillage and I'm not allowed to disclose any of it.

Santa Paws visited us! I'm so happy. I knew he'd come. He left a stocking full of tennis balls, treats, and tennis balls that squeak! Yes, I said tennis balls that squeak! He left me tons of stuffies. He even brought me a polo shirt, and a jacket. I think he forgot I prefer my birthday suit!
My pal Cooper sent me tennis balls, he was Liberty's exchange partner. My pal Nugget, Duke, and Daisy Mae sent me something but I've not opened that yet. I will open that very soon.
Daddy is going crazy with how many toys we have to play with and said that Santa Paws must have been drinking too much mountain dew because he spoiled you pups too much!
We are pampered and we know we are very lucky to have the home we have.
xoxo

Well, It's almost that time of year, when you go around and trick or treat depending on the house and how much they love doxies. You see some people don't understand how a doxie can be dressed up and ring the door bell...expecting dog treats (aka dog candy)! They look at you and ask "where is your parents? " UM, woof! woof! The person looks at you as if you were the one who had really lost it and goes "now go home!"
I decide to quickly leave my mark and runaway! That silly lady, was supposed to give me a treat but in return I left her a treat! HAHAHAHA! My mommy won't be happy, but I really don't understand the concept of why humans don't understand that us doggies like go trick/treating! We want our dog treat bags filled up with doggie treats.
Oh, I don't know! I want to go out this year, so badly but I bet no treats will be given to me. My mommy, has bought a ton of treats for us...placed them in this cute little pumpkin bucket. But it's not the same! I'm sure my fellow doggies will understand this...because treats are always better when they come from strangers.
I'm going as, you guessed it a HOTDOG!

Rain, Rain, go away! I want it to stop raining b/c my mommy took me to a new park on Monday. However, the last 2 days it has rained "cats and dogs" mommy said. I want to know why they don't say it's raining humans out there.
I played with my sisters today. Roxie is a ball of energy. Mommy tells me I was like her as a puppy. I still believe, I didn't drive other dogs crazy like she drives me crazy. All she does is play and play! Liberty and I prefer to sleep and play at times. We like to play but Roxie plays 24/7.
I look out the window and have my doggy day dreams of sunny weather and the doggy park.

i just realized my mom, still has that awful picture of me up there. I'm hoping she will change it, come one a doxie in the bath water. Well, I saw that mouse that runs around our kitchen and apartment. I so want to kill it, but my mommy reminds me I'm not supposed to kill it, just play with it and give it a good scare. Well, it doesn't seem to want to play and I stay up all night thinking of how i can catch it, to play with it.
My sister stole my bone, I gave her a good growl. I of course had to deal with mom, telling me not to growl at my sister. but i disagree b/c she stole my bone and ate it. i was planning on saving it later. i thought i hid it so well under my mom's pillow but liberty found it.
