Arrival Story:
Rt 81 south out of Syracuse NY one Fiday in June 1990. Busy highway. Rush hour-leaving-the-city-traffic. Sitting in high grass on median was a little tan someone. All I had to say to my husband was, "Did you see...?" And he replied, "Yup, I see her." Pulled over. I waited for fast-moving and large vehicles to pass, raced across to where she was, praying she wouldnt run away from me and out into traffic, scooped her up(more prayers-Please dont bite me. Please dont bite me.)and got back in car. Went home, gave her a bath, dinner, put her in bed between us. She gave a big sigh, fell asleep, and was home.

Bio:
Loved her. Was my bestest girlfriend in the whole wide world. We were inseparable for 13 years.
