I continue to struggle but this one is tough. Usually I bounce back by now...but this time I continue to refuse to eat unless mommy hand feeds me. I am trying but I can see the worry and fear in mommies heart. I heard her crying last night...she is so scared that this battle may not be won. We need your prayers. Continue our chant...Never give in.......Never give up.....you gotta fight fight fight. I wuff each of you.....Rio

Please tell your Mommy that she has to be strong right now. Your hearing her cry will only make you worry. She will have time enough to cry when it is too late to hold you and laugh at little things.

Please, know we pray for you every day and are praying harder for you now!

to your mom, our mom knows how hard it is not to cry. To see your beloved fight so hard and not be able to "fix" it. But what Rio needs now is as much strength as you can muster. You have to be strong for him. As hard as it is, with your heart already broken... and knowing it will be shattered into a billion more pieces. Crying now won't fix him. Love him today; now. Don't waste your time crying yet. Please.

I am sending you my deepest love and strength. This has been a horribly difficult journey. You have been his rock. He needs you now more than ever. Hold onto those tears just for a little longer.

I'm sorry if I sound preachy. I've just been too close to where you are. And I know how much you love your boy.
