Best Tricks: Thor was very talented! He was best at being the best friend a human could have.
Arrival Story: My husband suprised me with Thor for my birthday. Thor was the best gift I could have asked for. The vet estimated Thor to be about 4 1/2 months old. The poor thing was covered in fleas and had to have many flea dips. ********************************** ********************************** ********************************** *********
A lady found Thor outside of her tiny home, Some mean kids were throwing acorns at him and he was yelping. Out of the kidness of her heart, she took him in and named him "Acorn". Since her home was so small, and she had a house full of strays, she put an add in the paper.

Thor had many health issuses. He had an under active thyroid and required daily medication. He also had gallbladder disease and have to have gallstones removed, also requiring daily medication. Since he was having so much tummy touble, we took him to a vet specialist. The vet was going to do an exploratory surgery to biopsy Thor's liver and intestines and also completely remove his gallbladder. During the surgery, the vet found an adrenal tumor that was causing all of Thor's problems. Since the adrenal gland produced massive amounts of steroids, having it removed caused him to go into shock. We lost our precious baby at 6:20am on 09-22-2004.
