Hi everywoof! We would like to thank you for all the support and kindness you have given our family while I was missing. You were all such a HUGE help to us! We appreciate it more than you will ever know. I am so glad to be home safe and sound.

Well, I will tell you my story:

My Mom gets up at 3:00 am for work and she let me out as usual. I wander around and do my thing for about 10 minutes. When I didn't come back after that time she knew something was wrong. My Mom looked all over the neighborhood with a flashlight for me all morning long. Then she called my human sister Kim to help. Kim and Mom posted flyers all over the neighborhood and beyond. They called all the shelters, rescues and anywhere else they could think of, they walked all over looking in backyards for me. They posted all kinds of things on the internet.

The next morning Animal Control called my Mom to say they had a dog that might be me. Mom was so relieved and nervous at the same time. She drove straight there. When she got there I was in a space with a big dog and I was sleeping on a little cot. I perked up and was so happy to see my Mom, I couldn't believe it was really her! Normally I don't like stranger dogs or cats but this time I knew I had better be on my best behavior. Mom picked me up and loved me and then paid my bail and we went home!

I was so happy to be home, Mom cooked my favorite chicken and I ate and drank and ate some more. Then I had to have the dreadful bath!

The animal control picked me up the day I went missing about 2:00 in the afternoon just on the street outside my cul-de-sac. Mom thinks I was probably on my way home. Mom had even called the animal control up until closing time but they said they had no dogs that matched my description. Animal control said I was probably riding around with the "dog catcher" for a bit until they actually brought me in.

Mom still thinks someone let me in their house and kept me there for the day. I am very friendly and would gladly go inside someone's house to snoop around or beg for a treat. She figures maybe they wanted to keep me or didn't know what to do with me until they possibly saw the posters all over the neighborhood. Then they may have just called animal control and let me outside. I don't go far on my adventures and I am always back within 10 minutes. But then again Mom doesn't know for sure and said that anything could have happened.

Mom is so glad I was picked up by animal control although we couldn't figure out why they didn't see my posters all over the neighborhood, they were impossible to miss and we never see animal control just driving around in our area...ever. Anyway, she is glad I am home and that I didn't spend the night outside in a strange place.

I have new rules more old school Maggie. Mom said no matter how much I beg I will not be let out front to roam around. I have to stay in the fenced in yard and have my tags on. The Beastie's Dad came over and fixed all the little places I can get out of the yard and Maggie proofed the yard. You see I had my collar on but no tags this time. Normally I do have my tags on. I am not microchipped. I do realize I am a very lucky gal to have been reunited with my family!

I just want to thank all of you again for the prayers, kind words, rosettes, gifts and all the help and work you did to get me home!

My Mom will take a donation and treats to the animal shelter in the morning to thank them for picking me up.

♥ Maggie Moooooooo

My 13th Birthday!

Yesterday was my 13th Birthday! Wow, I can't believe I'm an old woman BOL! I had such a great birthday. All my friends on Dogster wished me a Happy Birthday and gave me rosettes and stars! Then my Mom took me for a nice long walk along the Parkway and then afterwards she took me to McDonald's!! I ordered my very own plain double cheeseburger and a vanilla ice cream cone. I was so excited I started licking the ice cream cone as they handed it to us through the window! I had finished my ice cream before we even got home. That cheeseburger sure was good!

Can't wait until my next birthday!
