So the mini-human my parents made me is working quite nicely. She gives me more than just Cheerios. I have been known to receive waffles with syrup and veggie sausage for brekkie, pbj sandwiches at lunch, tofu balls and pasta at dinner....ca-ching! JACKPOT!!! This little tot is so silly she drops half her food on floor. I LOVE her! I mean, yeah, there is a little abuse that I have to endure. She pushes me around, messes with my ears and tells me what to do, but overall it's really worth it. She finally stopped calling me 'Poo-poo', which was a little humiliating to say the least. Now I'm 'Pupper' in baby talk. Pupper that eats lots of delicious dishes that my mother would never dream of giving me. That's the kind of Pupper I am....a lucky Pupper.

Uh, Oh! She's not a Foster!

So last year my mum fostered a little mutt named Banjo after daddy found him in the mountains. He found a home with a very nice lady from the dog park. Anyway, a few monthes ago my parents came home with what I thought was another stray, but the thing is she hasn't gone home yet!! At first I ignored her because why get attached to someone that will be leaving shortly; lately though, I realized that she is NOT a foster....she's staying! Ack!

I pondered the horribleness of this thought a couple weeks ago and I realized a few things. Well, she doesn't eat any of my food (good) and I believe she might start eating human food soon (also good). The way I look at her now is that she is an investment. If I'm nice to her now, I might be able to sneak some cheerios or other treats from her later on!! Her hands are already sticky so they are good for licking. I love babies! I'm glad she's not a foster. :)

So my mum finally wised up and got rid of the mangy mutt, Banjo, that was eating too much of my food. I don't know what she did with him (nor am I really that curious), but that suck-up should have seen it coming. Eating MY food, cuddling with MY humans, and I swear I saw him eyeing MY garbage bin. I made sure that he never stuck his snout in that treasure though!! I gave my mum lots of love after I checked the perimeter to make sure it was free of that pest. I stopped ignoring her too (as I had done the entire 2 weeks he lived with us) because positive reinforcement is key. :)
