happy new year!

Hello! This may be a little late, but Happy New Year! It's a little late b/c mommy & I have been so busy (okay, mostly mommy, but nobody's pointing any fingers/paws). It's February already, which means almost one month until my birthday! I can't wait to get my traditional Bday Steak, some new toys, & some treats! Ain't a dog's life grand?! I'm also looking forward to spring time. Winter is soooo long & my walks are so few b/c of the frigid temperatures, little daylight hours, and laziness of my parents... oops, did I say that out loud?!

Anyways, I'm looking forward to this new year! So Happy New Year, Dogsters pals! :-)

Hello all!

Just wanted to write a few words about my weekend. We had a lot of excitement around the house. On Friday, my grandparents came to visit. It was my mommy's birthday! I really love my mommy's parents. They love me so much too. They are always so happy to see me & they love to give me lots of treats & pats on the head. On Saturday, my sister Stephen came over with her mommy & daddy & her new baby sister! Stephen's baby is so cute!!! She made me a little nervous though when she was in her bouncy chair! It was a little scary... I've never seen one of those! On Sunday, my other grandparents & aunt came to visit. I was very happy to see them too. I get so excited when people come over. My mommy says a little TOO excited. Because I bark like crazy & sometimes jump on people. I know that it's bad, but I can't help it. I want to protect my family from intruders & I can't tell who is coming until I smell them.

For my mommy's birthday I gave her a bunch of kisses. My daddy got her this neat picture frame that plays pictures of me. I think my brother Danny is already plotting to destroy it. But that will have to be another story...

long time no bark

It's been awhile since I've had the chance to write. I've been a busy little dog! Everything has been going well. My summer was great. Lots of walks & time spent outdoors. Mom & Dad took me on 2 5K. My mom & I did the Dash for Donation, which is a 5K to support organ transplantation (what my mommy does for a job when she is not at home spending time with me!). She made me a fun little bandana with my name on it & a little phrase "Donate Life". Everyone at the race loved it & I got my picture taken a lot. Mom & Dad took me to do the Dog Jog in August. (Boy, was it HOT) Mom & Dad got cool T-shirts & I got a free pass to the Bark 'Til Dark Park. I can't wait to go!

My favorite part about summer ending is that football season is just beginning. Mom got me a cool OSU bandana to wear on gamedays. GO BUCKS!!

I also wanted to say thank you to Dogster & Catster for the recent free photo albums from Shuttefly. My mom made one for me & one for my cat brother Danny. They are pretty cool looking & I know that it made her happy to make them. She loves taking pictures of us & being creative.
