I live to bark!
I got my wings!!!!!June 8th 2007 5:53 am[ Leave A Comment ]
I am humbled and thankful for the outpouring of kindness and love from my pals and their humans to my family and myself since I crossed to the Bridge. But then today, I find the kindness and generosity has expanded by my receiving THE MOST BEAUTIFUL set of wings from my loving and caring pal Inky Dinky Doodle and family. I am so humbled I cannot even bark. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I've gone to the Rainbow Bridge.......June 3rd 2007 2:13 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
6/3/2007...Today I crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. It was quite peaceful and such a relief (and release) from my body and those awful seizures. I can chase birds and bark all I want, now. My Mom and Grandma took me to let me be released after Mom found me in my doghouse unresponsive. Grampa and a family friend came to see if they could help, but alas...I was ready to go. Mom gave me sips of water on the way and I did lift my head up some but I couldn't answer to my name or get up. See, I'd had several more bad seizures lately, then been acting strange. When I didn't come running for my morning cheese (and meds slyly hidden in the cheese) Mom knew something was wrong.
My short-lived friend...May 29th 2007 8:55 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
I tried to tell everyone in the neighborhood I found a new friend today. It went something like this:
My newfound skill!August 28th 2006 5:53 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
My yard is 14,000 square feet in area. (My humans did the math for me.) I have lots and lots and lots of space. I have lots and lots and lots of trees and bushes and shrubs and grass in which to play, chase cats/rabbits/birds/squirrels. You'd think I'd also have a special...um..."potty spot" and in fact, I do. But it's not where you'd expect it to be. I have perfected the ability to poop on the very first 1 foot square stepping stone right outside the back door to my humans house! That is a skill! I wonder why they don't appreciate what I had to do to make a direct hit on that thing??!!
Seizures are the worst......April 19th 2006 10:36 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
My Mom wouldn't usually be up at this hour but I just had another seizure and that woke her and Buddy Lee up. I wish I knew why I have these awful things. I could hear Mom telling me everything was ok, but I kept running into things like the front door and chairs and stuff. It's just awful. I'm just wandering around the house now, looking for my Dad. He's been out of town for a while and I miss him. He's good for a girl when she's feeling down. Mom says he will be home soon. I hope so.
It's my little brother's birthday today...April 15th 2006 4:58 am[ Leave A Comment ]
..and if I'm lucky, he will get distracted and run off barking at something and his new bully stick will be MINE ALL MINE!!!!! BARKBARKBARKBARK! Oh sure, Mom buys me my own but I gobble it all up in no time at all. Then I have to wait for Mr. Grumpy Pants to leave his alone so I can sneak over and steal it. That is, IF Mom isn't watching, too....

Barkbarkbarkbarkbark...oh, sorry, this has to be in- English??November 7th 2005 6:50 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
So I was barking at nothing the other day.......well, maybe it was something, who really knows?? I mean, if ya gotta bark, ya gotta let it out! Well, my Mom doesn't think dog I guess because she's always hollering at me to "knock it off". My Dad...now HE'S a dogs best friend cause he'll always tell my Mom: "She's a dog, they're supposed to bark." Mom just doesn't get it! (I'm not jealous or anything, but she lets that little brother of mine bark a lot before she tells HIM to be quiet. Oh, he is such a Momma's boy.)
