THE RULES
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write about themselves (the seven random facts) as well as the rules in their diary. You need to select seven cats to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment (via p-mail) telling them that they've been tagged and that they need to read your diary for more information. My family is going to play by altered rules and we are not going to tag other kitties. Mom was on vacation for a week and came home to a mail box full of 'tags'
MY SEVEN FACTS
1. I am a singing Crested and will sing (howl) along with my mom.
2. I don't really care that much for other dogs - I'm a little aggressive.
3. I LOVE the beach!!
4. My favorite toys are my Monkey Baby and my Squirrelly Baby.
5. I was once so sick, I had blood leaking out of my bum.
6. I recently had a bad case of tape worms.
7. I really like to wear my clothes.
Kitties I tagged:

Monday and Tuesday were an interesting couple of days. Monday started out kind of scary. We got out of bed and came down stairs to go potty, just like every other day. But when mom opened the door, the bad sound started. It was LOUD and scary and I'd never heard it before. I looked around and wide, wild eyed cats were flying in every direction, but I didn't know what to do! Then mom turned around and started moving fast, and I decided I should run, too. So I did. Right in front of her. I didn't mean to make her fall, but I did. Mom went down flat on the floor and one of her slippers when flying off her foot and landed by the door. She scrambled to pick herself up off the floor and continue running to the control panel, with one slipper off. She finally made the bad noise stop, but I had run upstairs to hide under the chair. I heard her down there laughing. Was it one of those nervous laughs, like when something bad is happening? I wasn't sure, so I didn't come out of hiding when she called me. She came upstairs and lifted up the skirt on the chair and told me it was OK, come on out, but nothing' doin', I was safe under the chair! Mom turned the chair over to pick me up and I tried to crawl further under the skirt, but she got me anyway. I was really nervous to go back down stairs, but when we got there, everything seemed OK and even the cats didn't seem scared anymore. So we went on with our morning, as usual, and it remained uneventful.
Mom told me that Mimi wasn't going to come get me because her car is in the shop. I was sad that I wouldn't get to see my best friend and cousin, Geoff, but that's just how it is sometimes. At least I had the cats. So I waited and waited and waited for my mom to get home from work. When she did, guess who she had with her?? My very best Geoff! You should have seen the look on my face, that was the last person I expected to see, but I was so excited. Mom said it was because my Mimi had fallen and hurt herself and Aunt Tammy took her to the hospital. OHMYGOSH!!! My Mimi hurt herself! I was so worried about her and Geoff was too! As it turns out, my Mimi wasn't hurt too badly. She cut and bruised her head, got herself a real nice shiner (see the picture on my page) and sprained her wrist. But Geoff ate dinner at my house, which he never does.
Then, after a while, we had a whole house full of company!!! Aunt Ami came over with her husband and little baby and her friend, Tasha. I was really excited to see Aunt Ami and Uncle Jimi and even this new lady. And THEN I saw HIM. A dog! Aunt Ami had a dog, I couldn't believe it. How could she do that to me? Geoff liked him and went right up to meet him, I growled and never made friends with him, but he was only there for about 1/2 hour. If we had more time, we probably would have been friends. But Uncle Jimi left with the dog and I was better. We had a really good time all night. Geoff was good and didn't pee in the house and we both got lots of holding and petting and treats. Even that P.J. dog got some of my treats :o( After Aunt Ami put the baby to bed, I found his binky and tried to suck on that. She thought it was so cute that she decided to feed me the rest of Aiden's bottle that he didn't drink. OHMYGOSH, baby formula is GOOD!! Then I pretended to be Aunt Ami's other baby...it was a fun night (see the picture on my page).
That night when it was bed time, I was a little confused! Tasha went home and my mom started making a bed on the couch, that I thought was for Aunt Ami, but it wasn't! Aunt Ami and baby Aiden slept in my bed and guess what?? I slept with them...I was so excited. I never slept at night with Aunt Ami. She even brought my favorite pink blanket with her, so I scuffed that up and slept on it.
The next morning was SO MUCH fun! I got up on the bed with baby Aiden and we played together. Babies are so cool! He didn't mind that I licked him and licked him, he never once told me to stop or that I was driving him crazy. One thing he didn't like, though. When he laughed real big I would try to lick inside of his mouth. Hey, it tasted like milk in there and I like milk! So mom made me stop doing that so he wouldn't cry. I lay beside him and cuddled up to him and leaned over and gave him kisses. He would laugh real loud and try to grab my tail. We had the best time, we really did. It was like we were brothers from different mothers. I asked my mom if she would get me a baby and she just laughed. I didn't mean it as a joke, I really want one!!
But then I was sad because it was time for Aunt Ami to leave. She and baby Aiden had to get on an airplane and go to Oklahoma. Oklahoma is a long way away and it's going to be a long time before we see Aunt Ami and Aiden again. I miss you Aunt Ami, but I hope that you get your life all fixed up so you can be happy again. I like it best when you laugh and smile :o)
Happy and sad, sweet and bitter, high and low. I guess Pony is learning what life is all about. It's not all chewies and toys and treats. Sometimes there are ouchies in there, too. Sometimes it's an ouchie on the head, like my Mimi, and sometimes it's an ouchie in your heart, like my Aunt Ami. But it's going to be OK, I just know it is. There isn't much that the love of a dog can't make better!

Pony's not having a very good day today!! It started this morning before mom even turned on the light in the bedroom. I was on the bed sleeping when mom's alarm went off. The cats started getting up on the bed to be petted, like they always do. I growl when they get too close, just like I always do. My mom tells me "No growl at the kitties, no growl!!" Sometimes I stop. Well today, that stinkin' Busbee walked into my space one time too many. I don't like that cat, I just don't like him! I don't know if it's because of his stripes or because he hissed at me when I first came to my house or what, but I don't like him. Plus, I think he messes with me by trying to get all close to me in the mornings when I'm still waking up and crabby, like this morning. I swear he's saying "Ha ha, Pony, I'm putting my paw on you. You gonna growl at me? I'm going to lie down right next to you...heeheehee...you gonna growl? I'm going to walk across you to get to mom, whatchoo gonna do about it?" Well, this morning I SHOWED him what I was going to do about it...I snarled at him and tried to bite him, I might have even bit him a little bit, but I didn't make him bleed.
Well, his stinkin' stripy arse went FLYING off the bed, as well he should have. But Jack was up there too and it scared him. He jumped the other way, toward mom's table and knocked over her glass of water and another glass, and knocked her alarm clock on the floor and the front part came off. Oh, I knew I was in trouble. Mom yelled "No growl! You NO GROWL at the kitties! You NO BITE the kitties!" and she popped me on my butt. Not hard, but I was embarrassed and I felt bad that I made her mad. After a few minutes of letting me think about what I did, she petted me and talked nice to me and told me that I can't do that to the kitties, I have to be nice or I could hurt them. She said I was lucky they didn't hurt me with their claws.
So, if that wasn't bad enough, the day doesn't get that much better. I know I'm not supposed to eat the kitties’ food, I KNOW I'm not. Well, when mom was getting ready to leave for work I went into the dining room and I just lost my head and went right up to the cats' dishes and was going to help myself. Mom saw me and she said "No sir Pony, you NO eat the kitties' food! Get in here and get up on the couch! Come on, right now! You leave the kitties' bowls alone" and so I did. That wasn't so bad.
This afternoon my Mimi came to get me to take me to her house to play with my cousin, Geoff. When my mom was on the phone with Mimi, she asked her if I was being good. Mimi said yes, but then, out of the blue, Geoff walked by and I KNOW he was eyeballing my chewy...he was going to take it, I just know he was. So I growled at him. My Mimi told me to NO GROWL at Geoff, but I wouldn't stop. She was going to put me on the floor and I growled at her too. She took my chewy AND she put me on the floor.
Pony can't catch a break today!! I'm not a bad dog, I'm really not. I don't know what's wrong with me today, I'm just growly, grumpy and bitey! I hope tomorrow is better.
