I have to tell you all about my trip. My mom and dad had to go to California for something called an internship, an I was really worried that they would leave me behind. They were going to be gone for a whole 2 months, and I did not want to miss them that long. But, I was wrong to be worried. They took me with them! It was such a cool trip! We got a new car so that my brothers and I would fit along with all the stuff everybody would need, and we all went to see the doctor to make sure we were healthy and then we were off! We are from Michigan, so it was a long drive! We went through corn fields and mountains and deserts and over rivers and around lakes... it took us more than a week to get there!
I didn't like California much, though. We stayed in a really small room and there wasn't really any grass, so I was really glad when we got to come home. And the trip home was really fun, too! We saw canyons and prairies and cows and all kinds of national parks! I have decided that I really like travelling, but I also really like coming home!
