Arrival Story:
Simon was abandoned on a highway at 9 months of age. He was rescued by Sacramento Doberman Rescue and fostered until he was a year old. When I contacted the rescue folks I was not looking for a dog like Simon...he was a totally hyper, scrawny and kinda ugly, actually. The rescue people said "just come check him out." So I did and fell in love with him. Took him home, fattened him up and he's never more than 2 feet away from me. My older female Dobie pretends she doesn't like him, but really they are total buds.
