Quixo's Story

Quixo (pronounced Kee-O and short for Don Quixote) was a massive 150 pound dog. All muscle. He was our protector and he and his sister, Starbaby, were purebred Rotts, given to us by my husband's brother, who at the time was breeding Rotts. Quixo was becomeing aggressive and when someone besides me would sit in my recliner, he would mark it. So we decided to have him neutered and while he was under sedation have his teeth cleaned. He had fat around his heart we never knew about and he died after that procedure, never coming out from under anesthesia. We changed vets. He lived to be 5 years old.
