Arrival Story: I am an animal artist and was at the local pound doing a mural on the wall, when I first saw daMoose. Moosie was on death row, with one day left, as he was so hyperactive he was unadoptable. I decided to try to foster him, in order to give him training so he could be adopted, but instead, I fell in love with his indomitable spirit and sense of humour. He was hyperactive, had no hair, hip dysplasia, and was extremely overweight with red, weeping eyes and a purple tongue. I diagnosed food allergies and mineral/omega fatty acid deficiencies, and began treating him for hypothyroidism. Within a short time, he began growing hair and his temperament improved. A couple of years later, he began to grow an undercoat, and now he's the picture of good health. He's still an idiot, however, with the attention span of a small gnat. Bio: daMoose regularly chats on the internet with a group of other dogs. He's known as a funny, fickle womanizer, who can charm his way out of any situation. He's the canine equivalent of Tom Cruise in "Top Gun"or Mel Gibson in "Lethal Weapon".
