Arrival Story:
Our greyhound Joe had just died, and the track at St. Croix Meadows was closing. We wanted to see the dogs run one more time, so we went to the last day. My then (now ex) husband kept wanting to walk "just one more dog" at the adoption center. Finally I said, here, walk this one, then let's go. We walked her, and she was so great. Next thing I know we're driving home with her.
