Hey Gang Mommy's Rescue group just got Dustin from Louisianna. Here is his story:

Dustin is less than a year old and was seized, and turned into a Louisianna shelter in this shape after it was determined the owners were doing nothing to help him. Joanie, a puppy rescuer in Louisianna saw Dustin at the shelter and brought him to the attention of Weim Rescue Groups all across the nation. Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas stepped up to the plate and offered to accept Dustin into their program. Dustin has been transferred from the shelter to a vet near Baton Rouge. The vet has confirmed that Dustin is not only suffering from severe Demodectic Mange, but is also severely emaciated weighing less than 30 pounds! Dustin also has ringworm, and will be tested for heartworms.
