I just wanted to take a second to write an entry about a phenomena called Black Dog Syndrome. Before Mom and Dad adopted me, they had no idea how many black dogs there were in the rescues and shelters. Mom had always loved black pups so much, so she had no idea. But for many reasons, such as that we can be difficult to photograph, and some people thinking we look scary, there’s a high percentage of the dogs in rescues and shelters that are black—especially larger black dogs. It’s been such a common issue that they are calling the dogs Black Pearls. They may be black, but they can sure brighten up your life! For anyone looking to adopt a pup, please consider the black pups when choosing your newest edition to your family. Here’s a website with more information about the subject for anyone interested. Playdate today w/me GF & lil' Bud Dudley~!

OMDawg.....today was a very special & uplifting day for me ~ Reagan ~ Dudley ~ & me had a pawsome playdate ~! Dudley & me even bonded & played together while my M & Reagan snuggled & played.

On the drive over, I would make my grunting monkey sounds everytime M said Reagan's name...... my GF always makes my day brighter & I am blessed to have a special furbaby friendship with such a cutie. M forgot her camera but took a couple on her cell phone.....so may be some day soon we'll see those pix ~ I'm not holding my breath.....

It was nice to have some alone time with M as well.....yup this was my special day & baby Kona was left at home.....BOL~ he got some nice alone time as well & got a walk around the our neighborhood. I have been told he did very well without me.....go figure the "tank" walks better alone than with me ~ .....he'll never be as well behaved as I am.

I'm off to catch some much needed ZZZZZZ's......

BOL ~ my big bro is home & I'm happier than ever ~ well not really ~ but I am pretending to be my charming self when M is around. She catches me moopin' around & brought out some new toys for Me & Kona....if she keeps that up pretty soon I'll learn another new trick~!

When KoBear's urn came in the door with M I was quick to jump up & I almost knocked KoBear outta M hands......I was so excited & happy to have my buddy home again....Me & Kona keep sniffing the urn & M is hopeful we'll leave it alone soon ~ right now she's got her M eyes on us (you all know M eyes....those special eyes in the back of every M's head) ~ we'll see how long we can get away with sneaking a sniff of our KoBear's urn

Shhhh ~ M's got a secret

I get to have a special yet secret puppy playdate this week with my girl friend Reagan......If M says gf's name I go crazy so even though I don't know (yet) that I'm gonna see her ~ I know spending time with my gf will help lift my spirit ~!

It was great to see my favorite Dr. H again & he assurred M that me bum leg is a.o.k.

Doc's only words of advise to M were "don't encourage T to chase the puppy"......(slight turn of the head) ARROO.....no chasin' the puppy ~ well I am allowed to chase him & M has stopped tellin' me to ~get him~ so with the slight adjustment to my meds I'm good to go!!!!

Mis~Adventures

I am having so much fun playin' with my new little bro....we run wild in our yard together & take turns chasin' each other everywhere ~ Baby Kona has the wild (what M calls) ~ the puppy ~ TURBO ~ BLAST....& I'm here to bark out how SUPER fast he can run. He's also a jumpin fool & has no fear of heights, he will leap over anything!!!!!!

With all the fun we've been having I almost forgot......Tomorrow I will be taking a nice long drive up the coast to see my favorite Doc. Yup me bum leg is acting up again & I'm having lots o' trouble walkin'.....so I'm off to see my favorite ortho Dr. H.

I love to see Dr. H yet I know what it means when I see him ~ more tests & hands on me bum leg! It isn't much fun for me & since Dr. H moved his office ~ I'm super duper bummed that I won't get to see my favorite vet tech's any more!!!!!!! I miss all their love & the special attention.....M says the new tech's will be just as nice & I have nothin' to worry about ~ cuz I'll get to meet new people tomorrow & I LOVE to meetin' people so I'm game!

My tail won't be waggin' much when I don't get breakfast tomorrow morning....the only bright side to the NO FOOD note on the refrig is that KoBear & baby Kona won't get any food 'til M & me drive off.....they are lucky cuz papa will feed them while my tummy be a rumblin' for FOOD....

Barkin' out to everyone.......We had a computer crash (whatever that means) & with a new computer in paw we are finally BACK.....
