Going Away...

I went to wait for my family at Rainbow Bridge Today. I wasn't a well puppy so God asked me if I wanted to sit on his lap for a while. God decided that I'd been through enough and stretched out His hand to me, and I was lifted up and will now wait for my Mum and Lucy and everyone else to join me.

The cancer I had made me thin and food went right through me but I knew that my family and Rosie, my wonderful vet were working hard, trying to get me better. They loved me so well and I hope they realised how much I loved them for this as well as still loving them now as I look down and see them.

I know they are sad and upset because I'm not there but they'll see me again. Where I am now, I can eat as much as I like and not get fat. I can run about because my wobbly legs have got better. I can do everything I always wanted to and more. Of course, I will miss those I left behind but it's not a "goodbye" but a "see you soon!" One day I'll turn around and see you waiting there and will come and leap into your arms.

Please don't be sad. I am happy now and I want you to be happy for me.

Long Time No Woof!

I haven't been on here for ages! Well not too much has changed. I'm still a "Filthy Mongrel" as I'm called here and all my family are still around, even Peter Pan the cat who was 20 in May.

Peter Pan sleeps in my basket in the kitchen when I'm not in there but he complains if I want to get in to go to sleep. The cheek of it! But he does warm it up for me which is nice.

Last week I hurt my eye and also got an ear infection. On Monday Mum took me to the vets and I got eye drops and a squirty thing for my ears which I don't like. I let Mum put drops in my eyes though as I trust her and she won't hurt me. I was very miserable on Monday and Tuesday but the last couple of days I've felt better.

Anyway, big woofs to all my friends!

New Food!

I've finally found a new food that I can eat whenever I can find it...cat poo! Lucy and Mummy were totally disgusted by me when they saw me eating it but I like it a lot and there's no shortage of it in the garden...

My Big Adventure

Today I came home after two days away. I've been at the vets that helped me when I was very little and had pneumonia, not my regular vets. On monday I had an operation to make my nostrils bigger and also to cut away some of my soft palette so I can breathe more easily. I was a very brave pug and didn't cry or anything.

All I have to show for it are two stitches in my nostrils which my mum says look like pretty little bows. I also have stitches in my windpipe and am learning how to breathe through my nose as I couldn't do that much before.

I hope it'll make breathing in the summer a lot easier as I don't like the hot weather much and last year had to have oxygen at the vets to help me. But this year, I have new nostrils!

New Things...

I'm on a diet again, but then so are Lucy and Mum so its not too bad. I even like the prescription food!

Lucy has met a nice man called Neil. Neil fusses me lots when I see him and stayed with me and Lucy when Mum and Kev went on holiday. I liked to sit next to him while he played video games though he wouldn't let me have a go.

I'm 2 Today!

Its my second birthday today. I feel ever so grown up and old. Lucy, Mum and Kev are ever so pleased as when they had me it didn't look like I'd make it to 6 months. I'm so happy I did though as I love my family and all the love, hugs and food they give me.

Talking of food, Mum bought me some new biscuits that are pro-biotic and I really like them. I even ate them out of the BOWL and didn't wait for Mum to feed them to me one by one so she could tell that I thought they were tasty!

Happy Puppy...

Lucy is back with her ex, the policeman. He's nice, he tickles me and plays rough like Kevin does. I like him.

Bad news on the diet front. I'm not even allowed to lick plates anymore as Mum says I'm still too round. To be honest I think roundness is something all Pugs should aspire to but Mum doesn't see it that way.

I'm yet to meet another Pug, so I'm not sure what I'd do if I did. I wish Mooshu lived in the UK, then we could meet up and have lots of Pugly fun!

Sad and Hungry

I've been put on a diet. Apparently I eat too much human food so I'm not getting any at the moment. They let me lick their plates when they finish their meals but other than that all I get is the occasional lick of Lucy's ice lollies.

Lucy has decided to get a divorce. I think she's right, as I only saw that man Dave once, and he didn't seem a Pugly kind of person. Lucy's next guy will need to be MUCH Puglier.

Sad...

My Lucy is quite often sad but today she came home and cried a lot. My Mum said it was because she wouldn't see her husband Dave for six months while he goes to a rehab centre. Lucy cried and shut her door so I couldn't go to see her and check on her but I think she'll be okay. I'll be extra nice to her when she comes down tomorrow morning and then hopefully she won't cry so much. I think my Mum is worried but if I'm a really good Pug I think I can take her mind off Lucy.

Tinker Bell

My catty sister Tinker Bell went to see Auntie Jo the vet yesterday. She had a poorly foot as one of her claws had grown into her toe even though my mum and my Lucy try to cut them as often as they can. She had to go in the basket and she cried a lot. I jumped up to tell her not to be afraid as Auntie Jo is nice and car rides are fun but she was so scared she didn't hear me. When she came back she was better though so I chased her and my catty brother Peter Pan to celebrate.

I'm going to ask Lucy to put them on to Catster so they can be famous like I am. I think they'll make lots of friends too!
