Arrival Story:
I really wanted a small dog and did research on various breeds. My friend bred her two Chihuahuas, and they had a litter of 6. My husband and I went to visit the litter, and I instantly fell in love! My husband liked the father's coat so we picked one similar to his--Pickles. We visited her every two weeks and took pictures of her as she grew. And now she's my baby girl!
Bio:
Pickles will tell on Yoda if he's doing something bad. Sometimes he'll get into the bathroom wastebucket, grab a tissue out of it, and take it to his crate to chew on it. Pickles will come to me and have a look like "come quickly!" I'll follow her to wherever Yoda is at and sure enough, he's doing something he's not supposed to be doing. Does anyone else's dog do this? My husband said that Yoda told on Pickles about a month ago for the same reason. Aren't dogs amazing?!

Remember my previous post about my harness? Well, Mom insisted that I wear it again yesterday. I did ok with it on but then she put a leash on me. I was really nervous and scared! I took tiny steps as Mom encouraged me to keep walking. Then I started walking, and it wasn't so bad! Occasionally the leash would spook me but I did really well. I must say, I'm pretty proud of myself. Mom bought an extending leash for me like Yoda has. That was kinda scary too. I wasn't sure how far to walk but then I got used to that too. Mom was SOOO excited for me!! I think she wants to do it more often so that I don't get nervous with my harness and leash on. Then she gives me a treat when we get inside. I like that!!

How come I don't have more bones?? I know they expire after awhile but still....doesn't anyone like me? Yoda has more bones than I do! Not fair. :o( I really, really, really, REALLY like bones. (Hint, hint) ;o)

Mom finally cut my nails!! They were sooooooo long. She said I could probably climb a tree with those nails. The problem is it takes two people to cut my nails because I hate it! Mom calls me a drama queen. But really...Dad had to hold me down on my back, talking to me quietly so that I would remain calm while Mom chopped off my nails. They were telling me that I was a good girl but I get so scared! I don't know why but I've never liked getting my nails cut. The terror...the horror!! But as soon as Mom finished the dirty work she and Dad immediately praised me for doing such a good job and gave me a Snausage, too. Mmmm....Snausages!! I'm just glad it's over! :o/
