Birthday: March 27th 2005 Likes: Attempting to eat the cats' food, greeting everyone who walks past him, trying to make pals with the cats, his toys, things that are not his toys. Pet-Peeves: Being bored (Kerries are party animals!), passerbys who don't stop to pet him, and being told "NO." Favorite Toy: A toy shaped like a bone that is like a kong. Favorite Food: Well, I feed him Solid Gold...but when it comes to treats, he likes the Peanut-Butter flavored Freeze Dried Ice Cream. Favorite Walk: Anywhere...ESPECIALLY where there's other people. Best Tricks: Playing peeka-boo, freestyling/pirouetting, playing innocent, etc. Arrival Story: Words can't express how delightful I am to be the owner of this little Kerry pup. But, his full name is Remington. For short we call him 'Remi.'
When my apartment complex decided they would allow dogs, I was ecstatic and started researching as much as I could about the Kerry Blue Terrier. After extensive research, I concluded that this would be the perfect breed for me. From visiting a local dog show three years ago, I had met Reita (of Kerrisel Kerries) and some of her gorgeous Kerries. She was (and still is) very helpful. Remi & I thank her very much!
When Remi isn't following me around everywhere, he's either taking a puppy nap or enjoying nibbling on his chew toys. Sometimes he'll fool me into thinking he has to go out, but when we step outside, I find out that his intentions are to seek out some friendly hands to pet him. He's such a social little guy!
