Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
May 18th 2004

Likes:
playing fetch; being with her People; going to "Grandma and Grandpa's" ; Playing with Quinn the wonder dog

Pet-Peeves:
strangers are not to be trusted!; ear drops or ear cleaner (any medicine for that matter); Annie puppy trying to herd her all the stinking time

Favorite Toy:
tennis balls are the most wonderful things ever made and she loves them in absurd amounts

Favorite Food:
anything her grandma's eating--she knows she'll get at least half of it. Grandma's a sucker for her begging...see photo. She also has a particular fondness for sweet things

Favorite Walk:
anywhere she can be off leash

Best Tricks:
all the standards (sit, down, stay, etc) can put a treat on her paw and she'll leave it until you say "okay!", yawns so loud it wake's you up (not really a trick as much as a silly thing that makes us laugh)

Arrival Story:
Cally came on a plane on a hot July day from Ohio. We'd found this breed in a dog magazine and it seemed to fit everything we were looking for, and the dog pictured was simply beautiful. After we found Cally's litter and were in the process of getting her sent to Minnesota, we looked at the magazine again and discovered that the handsome boy in the picture is actually her Dad!

Bio:
Cally is a first generation American! Both of her parents were born in Switzerland. She has intense devotion to her family, but doesn't trust strangers right away. If you're willing to spend some time with her, she'll bring you a ball to throw and be your buddy. Once she's your friend she loves you in obnoxious amounts. She's incredibly smart and was a joy to train, as she picked everything up so quickly! She's a good little Minnesotan! She's crazy for the snow in the winter, and swimming in the lakes in the summer. She is also wonderful and gentle with our "house rabbit" Ingrid (she's litter box trained and has free range of the place). She's better than any cup of coffee out there...it's impossible to stay sleepy and grumpy in the morning when she's so happy and excited to see you awake.

Forums Motto:
