I've been a very busy pup

Ever since Mom and Dad got engaged, it seems things have been a bit chaotic so I haven't had a chance to write.

This weekend, Mom finally realized that I was overdue for a bath, so she finally got me. I hate baths. I being drenched and really don't like smelling like oatmeal instead of me, so usually after I'm bathed, I'll run around the house like a madman rubbing up against everything/anything that has a bit of the Potato smell left on it in a concerted effort to regain my lovely perfume.

This is an exhausting process, so I ususally collapse shortly thereafter.

Other than the ridiculous bathing ritual, it was a nice weekend.

Lots of cuddling up between Mommy and Daddy on the couch and in bed. What more could a pup ask for?

It's Official! I have a Daddy!

Yep, John proposed and Mom said YES, and they're gonna get hitched, so I officially have a Daddy! Needless to say, I'm thrilled. I couldn't have selected a better man myself. I just hope Daddy gets around to adopting a nice young female potato sooner or later, so I have someone to canoodle with too.

Not that I mind being King of the House and all, but a nice, warm, fuzzy, petite little potato would be worth sacrificing a bit of my spoiled, self-centered ways...

Well, Dad's in Canada and Mom's at work - and I'm sitting here watching countless cartoons on Nick. I don't know why Mom won't let me watch HBO when she leaves. I guess she thinks I'll get scared - but honestly, these cartoons are far scarier. Some of them are outright creepy - like Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi. What the hell is that? Two pseudo-teenage girls that can't sing parading around in miniskirts and pigtails? Come on. We all know who that show was created for. And what about that Sponge Bob? Has it occurred to anyone at all that a sponge in a suit that sounds/talks like a somewhat mentally incapacitated person might be a wee bit creepy? I like Invader Zim however.

I wish I weren't so afraid of car rides so I could go with Mom to work more often - especially when Dad's away.

Well, at least she'll be home in another 6 hours. That should give me plenty of time to wreak havoc on the place - and perhaps get a few more z's, so I've got plenty of energy to jump 5 feet up into the air repeatedly when she gets home.
