Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
March 11th 2003

Likes:
Having his belly rubbed, playing a strange game of tag on my bed, licking everything, sleeping/cuddling, rawhide bones, chicken treats, human food, hiding things, dog parks, cute bitches.

Pet-Peeves:
Plastic bags, being left alone, being ignored, car rides.

Favorite Toy:
Pudgy the Reindeer and Stinky the Skunk

Favorite Food:
Nothing in his bowl. Everything on my plate.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere there are things to smell, trouble to be had.

Best Tricks:
Jumping, (freakishly high), shredding newspaper when he's left alone, and twirling on his hinders.

Arrival Story:
I found him online - through a breeder in Modesto, (Wendy Bell). I saw his picture and just knew... I was actually moving from Venice to Downtown L.A. when I found him, and begged her to hang onto him for me for one more week, so I could move in, get settled and then go pick him up. He was very scared at first, because he'd been with Wendy for nearly a year - but once we were in the car - he licked my nose repeatedly and it's been mad crazy love ever since. I have gone so far as to break up with a guy who wasn't hip on the idea of having Otto sleep with us in bed. Fortunately, I found someone who is just as crazy in love with Otto as I am - and the three of us share a bed together. Otto of course is always in the middle.

Bio:
I don't know how I ever lived without him, ever. He's incredibly manipulative, using his sickeningly cute face and seemingly indelible puppy expression to convince virtually everyone that he's underfed and should thus receive endless supplies of treats. He also believes that his little breakdancing bits will compel passers-by to shower him with belly rubs. He has a funny way of showing affection, (in addition to endless kisses), he likes to dive at people's noses. He is a master of the art of pouting - and knows how to push buttons. Basically, he's a plan monkey that gets everything he wants. He's a Potato, which is a very special breed of Boston Terrier. In fact, he's the only one in existence. Quite the Potato too!

A Day in the Life of a Potato

I've been a very busy pup

Ever since Mom and Dad got engaged, it seems things have been a bit chaotic so I haven't had a chance to write.

This weekend, Mom finally realized that I was overdue for a bath, so she finally got me. I hate baths. I being drenched and really don't like smelling like oatmeal instead of me, so usually after I'm bathed, I'll run around the house like a madman rubbing up against everything/anything that has a bit of the Potato smell left on it in a concerted effort to regain my lovely perfume.

This is an exhausting process, so I ususally collapse shortly thereafter.

Other than the ridiculous bathing ritual, it was a nice weekend.

Lots of cuddling up between Mommy and Daddy on the couch and in bed. What more could a pup ask for?

It's Official! I have a Daddy!

Yep, John proposed and Mom said YES, and they're gonna get hitched, so I officially have a Daddy! Needless to say, I'm thrilled. I couldn't have selected a better man myself. I just hope Daddy gets around to adopting a nice young female potato sooner or later, so I have someone to canoodle with too.

Not that I mind being King of the House and all, but a nice, warm, fuzzy, petite little potato would be worth sacrificing a bit of my spoiled, self-centered ways...

Well, Dad's in Canada and Mom's at work - and I'm sitting here watching countless cartoons on Nick. I don't know why Mom won't let me watch HBO when she leaves. I guess she thinks I'll get scared - but honestly, these cartoons are far scarier. Some of them are outright creepy - like Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi. What the hell is that? Two pseudo-teenage girls that can't sing parading around in miniskirts and pigtails? Come on. We all know who that show was created for. And what about that Sponge Bob? Has it occurred to anyone at all that a sponge in a suit that sounds/talks like a somewhat mentally incapacitated person might be a wee bit creepy? I like Invader Zim however.

I wish I weren't so afraid of car rides so I could go with Mom to work more often - especially when Dad's away.

Well, at least she'll be home in another 6 hours. That should give me plenty of time to wreak havoc on the place - and perhaps get a few more z's, so I've got plenty of energy to jump 5 feet up into the air repeatedly when she gets home.
