Squirrel Madness!

Sunday morning, after I finished breakfast, I went to my spot at the front window to make sure all was well in the 'hood. It was fine at first, but I started going nuts and getting super excited and making these strange high-pitched yelps/barks (I've never heard myself make these sounds before!)! My parents came out and they finally saw what had made me so excited - a squirrel was running about on the other side of the street! (Silly them, they thought I was getting excited about the bird hanging out in the garden.)

I followed the squirrel through all the windows on the top floor - for some reason, Mr. Squirrel didn't see me. So, I figured, if I went into the backyard, he'd hear me, he would come over and play. That idea didn't work, so I went back upstairs to my window and now he was crossing the street in front of my house!!

I yelped and yelped until Mr. Squirrel disappeared into the neighbor's tree.

But now, I sit at my window in the mornings and wait patiently for him to come back.

Dear Diary -

How cool is Dogster? Now I can have a blog (of sorts) of my own! 4 paws up to them!

I just recently moved to a new neighborhood in SF. Though I miss having the BIG park (aka Stern Grove / Pine Lake Park) down the street, the little park in my new hood is pretty cool and there are plenty of pooches there that I've met. Though, they always seem to want to say hi when I'm chasing after my ball!

Well, I must take a nap or bark at the postman now...

Woof! Woof!
