Sticks, rocks, our other dogs, the occasional apricot pit.

Venison canned dog food but he'll eat anything including pecan pie.

The beach or Bidwell Park
Best Tricks:
"Off!" That would be a trick! He will "leave it" for a little while, usually until I look away. "Outside" and "inside" (through the dog door) and "Porch" (means wait on the porch 'til I get the car door open)
Arrival Story:
Darby was purchased as a purebred because of my allergies. Soon after we got him we took him to the vet for a checkup and discovered he had Hemolytic Anemia. After $20,000 (yes, that is the correct number of zeros) worth of blood transfusion treatments he was finally cured by removing his spleen. We are glad to still have this wonderful, lovable guy around.
Bio:
Darby loves to cuddle. He accomplishes this by jumping on people and knocking them down, pinning them and preventing all movement so they have no choice but to be snuggled by a giant fuzzy dog. He also slobbers more than any other poodle in the world (true fact). He also loves to go anywhere in the car. Sometimes we just go out and sit in the car with him until he thinks he's gone somewhere. It makes him happy.

Today, I cleaned the house for Mom and Pop. For some reason they didn't really seem to appreciate it very much. All I did was empty the trash cans and clean off a few plates. Sometimes I just don't understand my parents!
I was really upset that Mom left me at home today and took my little brother to work with her instead! Addie wasn't very happy either! Oh well, I got a few other things done while I waited for them to get home. I continued working on removing the paint from the hall door, I ate the rest of my leftovers from yesterday and I finally finished getting all the stuffing out of that pillow I've been working on. I wish Mom and Pop appreciated my redecorating efforts more!
I felt so good about all I accomplished today that I felt free to play with the cat for the rest of the afternoon. We played hide and seek. I don't know how to expain to her that I actually can see her on the top of the scratching post. I tried to tell her but she just seemed to get mad at me for telling her how to play the game. After that Milo and my parents came home and Jazmine decided to hide outside. I tried to tell her that it wasn't fair as she was leaving. Oh well. Now I can play with Milo. I have to check and see if his head has grown while he was gone. Nope, still fits in my mouth. All this work and play has made me real tired. I think I'll take a nap. Thanks for visiting my blog!
