Arrival Story:
After I moved into my house, I decided I wanted a dog, so I started looking at rescue websites. After deciding on the breed I wanted, I found a rescue group that specialized in that breed about 80 miles from where I lived. I sent in my adoption application and after about a month or so the woman running the rescue called and I went down to see the dogs that were available. When I saw Abby I knew she was the one. She's been with me since March 2004.

Dear Abby,
Now that I have you, I can't imagine life without you. Thinking back to our first night together, I remember looking at you and asking myself,
" What have I done?" Being a life long cat person, you have forever changed me, and although cats will always be in my life, you have made me realize how a dog truly enriches your life. Adopting you was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love you, Abby.
