Her raw food diet! LOL! She is a little piggy & loves food!

The park as long as it's quiet! She spooks at any & all diesel trucks & buses....why? I have no clue....

Best Tricks:
Self taught how to pounce on See and Say or any noisy toy by the front door to let me know she needs to go out.

Arrival Story:
Wanted a companion for my male Kerry as my 15 Yr old Pug Rocky had passed away. I got Haley from another show breeder as there were none in Kerry Rescue at the time. It was love at first site & they are inseparable now.

Bio:
11/2006 Haley was diagnosed on her 4th birthday with lymphoma cancer grade 3.5 out of 5 being the worst. We are still doing chemo & she has been in remission since her 2nd treatment. I changed her diet to mostly raw & have her on holistic cancer meds to fight this fight as long as we can. So far she has done real well on her chemo. You would never know she was sick. :) She is more spoiled now than ever. We are praying for miracles that she can stay in remission. 1/25/07 8/2007 Haley knock on wood is still in remission! Still see's her Oncologist for check ups & saw a Holistic Vet in April 2007 as well. Added more Holistic meds. 10/2/2007 Sad to report Haley's cancer is back. We started Chemo again today. She does not look or act ill at all. If she was suffering or in pain, I wouldn't put her through this again. However she is a fighter & I will be by her side to help her fight this once again. If she shows any sign of giving up, is suffering or in pain then I will respect her for fighting a tough battle & give her the dignity she so deserves. Until then I will remain positive that we can get her back in remission again.... 4/27/08 Haley has faught a tough battle however remission this time is no where in site. I can feel her Lymph gland more so today. We will see her Cancer doc one more time on 5/1/08 for instructions on what we need to make her comfortable. She does not seem to be in pain however I think even she knows. She has faught a tough fight & I will be with her through the end........ 6/3/08 Update: Haley has passed on today. I am not handling it all to well as she was my special precious baby girl that was only on earth for a very short 5 years. She began failing all of a sudden on Friday morning. She had great difficulty getting up from a sitting position and her back legs did not want to cooperate well. She has been eating well etc even chewed on her pig ear this morning which shocked me. However as of this morning she no longer was able to pull her back end up unless I assisted her. Once up she could walk. The vet said it is possible the cancer had started to go into her spine. Her spleen & liver where enlarged as well. I have never been able to watch a pet be put to sleep but today I held her head in my arms as they gave her the knock out shot & then the actual drug afterwards to put her to sleep. I kept telling her I loved her over & over. She even licked me in the car on the way over as I kept stroking her fur & telling her how much I loved her, crying all the way over. The house is very quiet now & I know I am rambling.......it is just so hard as I hate to admit she was my favorite of the two. Always full of terrier spunk, loads of laughs, and very very affectionate. I miss my little monkey so much! I just hope my dad was able to be there to meet her. RIP my sweet Haley. There will NEVER EVER be another baby as precious as you were. I am so sorry Haley..........
