Fun day yesterday!

Mom and Dad are at work and I'm in charge right now, babysitting Rocky, Mitts, Sven, Kiera & Dash.

All is quiet right now so I thought an update was in order.

I haven't written anything in awhile, mom won't let me use the computer much, she says it will turn my brain to mush, but I snuck on today, heehee.

Yesterday we went to Grandma's house and I met a new dog named Doris, she is a bit older but she was fun. Grandma has another dog now her name is Maggie, Allie left us a few months ago (sniff) we miss her but Maggie is awesome and she has made Grandma very happy.

So there were 4 dogs at Grandma's yesterday for the picnic, Me, Kiera who is on my friends page, Mom has to update her into our family but she used to live with Dad's sister Aimee, she came to live with us in February. She was a little prima donna at first, didn't want to get her paws wet or cold but she toughened up pretty good. I had to show her who was boss at first but now we are true sisters! We both team up on Sven, he loves it! Anyway back to the story, so it was Me, Kiera, Maggie and Doris who lives with Steve and Mark.

We had the best time, we all got along well and Steve played ball with me! I was the youngest, Steve really tired me out, as soon as we got home I slept, and slept, mom and dad were sooooo relieved!

They wish we had a fenced in yard so I could play, they say I'm high energy, but we go for walks every night and dad lets me play in the hose on really hot days so its not too bad. I can't wait to go to Grandma's again tough, I'm hoping Maggie will play more with me if we get to know each other better. She is 7 years old and a bit bigger than I am but she doesn't seem to want to play much. Kiera plays with me but she is so small that I get afraid I'll hurt her so I can't be too rough with her.

Well I better go, its time to patrol the house and make sure everything is secure. Mom will be home in about an hour & a half so I have to make sure its safe.

TODAY IS MY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!

Happy Birthday to me!

Mommy and Daddy bought me all sorts of cool gifts! Lots of treats and a BIG box of Greenies!

I got 2 new toys too! I really like them.

I had cake and because it meant so much to them I wore a stupid party hat and let them take a picture of me in it.

Mommy forgot the ice cream so she promised to get me some later on when she goes out, I like the Ice Cream a lot more than the cake!

Mommy also updated my pictures so you can see what a beautiful dog I have become, I'm not as big as they thought, I got weighed yesterday at the vet and I 64 pounds, Daddy weighed me at home last month by picking me up and stepping on the scale with me, but our combined weight went over the 290 mark so he miscalculated and thought I weighed 80 pounds and he has been telling everyone who will listen that I was 80 pounds, boy was he suprised when he found out I was a Svelte 64 pounds! HA!

I also got a birthday card from the Pet insurance company and an email Card from Lola! Thank for remembering me Lola! And I got an Email from Dogster and they put me in the Doggy Birthday stroll today and gave me 25 treats! and some Paws!

What a great Birthday so far!

Well I'm going to go back to playing with my new stuffed ball.

Beware of the Dog!

I earned my Beware of the Dog sign today!

I was out in the yard with mommy and someone was walking down the street and I wagged my tail at him but then he started to walk into the driveway and I didn't like that, Mom didn't invite him so I barked at him, he stopped and looked like he wasn't sure so I barked at him again, and he went on his way, Mom was so proud of me, she called Dad and told him and Dad came home with 2 Beware of the Dog signs!

I'm a Big Dog now!

Where is my pet bird?

I found a bird in the backyard today and mom took it and put it in a cage and gave it food, water and bedding, then she called the Audobon Society and next thing I knew her and my bird were leaving. NOT FAIR! I found it! It was mine! I'm majorly bumming now, I really liked a that bird, it would have made a yummy snack!. The good thing is its wing wasn't broken, the Audobon lady said he was a Grackle, a young one and he was really thin, probably starving he has a good chance to make it though.

Oh I saw my boyfriend yesterday!

I'm on a roll!

So far this week I have killed a mini soccer ball and scratched a hole in my bed and tore all of the white foamy stuff out plus I dug a couple of new holes in the yard and its only Tuesday!

So much to do So little time

I know its been awhile since I have updated but Mom has been busy and I'm not allowed to use the computer. Lets see what has been going on in my life? Well last week they took me to the vet and made it so I can't have puppies, I didn't like being away from home overnight, it was the first time and I was scared but Mom came and got me the next day and I was so happy to see her and to go back home to my own bed and see my cats and see my dad! I hope that never happens again! Mom says the stitches healed nicely

Today was the first day I got to go to the park! It was my first outing since the vet thing and I was very happy to go, then we went to the pet store and I got a new bag of bones and some dog food.

Dad bought a cage thingy to make a barrier so I stop jumping in the front seat, I am not happy about that at all, I will have to think of a way to get around that one.

Well I am very tired now, tomorrow I get to see my boyfriend Willie, I haven't been able to play with him since last week because mom said I have to rest but she promised I can play with him tomorrow.

It's finally Friday!

I love Fridays! It means I get Mom and Dad at home for 2 whole days and hardly any cage time at all! We usually go to the park and pet store on Saturday and to Puppy Kindergarten on Sunday needless to say I sleep really good on the weekends. This Sunday is my last class, I have to learn a trick, I know how to bow but Mom wants me to roll over, I know how to do it but I admit, I'm lazy and she needs to get me some realllllyyyy good stuff to get me to do all of that work, I'm thinking.......PORK!

Mom took me for a walk on Tuesday and we found a path to a cemetary it was pretty cool! when we walked through to the other end there was a sign that said no pets, TOO LATE! I decided I had enough and totally impressed mom with my sniffing skills, I sniffed my way all the way home, my nose leading the way!

I got to play with Willie a few times this week, that is always fun, he doesn't hump as much anymore.

Gotta go chew on my bone! WOOF!

Can you say Dog Tired without it being a cliche?

Boy what a day! Mom and Dad took me to the park this morning and I had soooo much fun, we walked then we found a nice quiet hill and Mom ran down it with me, half way down I got tired and laid down, they laughed at me, I don't know what they found so funny, it took a lot out of me! Then we sat and I watched some guys throw frisbees, they said hi to me but they didn't come pet me : ( . After we went home and I ate lunch then we went to Auntie Aimee's house and I played with Kiera for a bit. Funny I remember her being the same size as me when we first met but she shrunk, maybe she should go to the vet and get that checked out hmmmm..... We are home now and I am DOG TIRED. Oh I forgot to mention I have a new friend, his name is Willie and he lives next door, I think he is a poodle or something, we had puppy playtime twice now, Dad doesn't like him too much because he is always humping me.

Oh and I was going to write this a couple of days ago but I didn't get a chance, one of my brothers almost lost his home, Mom works with his Mom and he bit someone but it looks like they are going to work it out, he gets to stay for now.

Wow what a night last night

*YAWN* If I was a drinking puppy, I'd swear I had a hangover. I am still tired from last nights class. I had a great time though. Before the class Mom took me outside and played ball with me, then I ate a light dinner because I get all sorts of good treats when I go to class, just for listening and obeying, How dumb is that? I go to class, I get to play with other puppies, I do a few exercises, I get great treats, then I go home and take over the household again! Yup, they think they have me under control, Riiiggght.

I paired up with AJ the Golden Retriever and played, and played, I pinned him down about 4 times, then he pinned me down, I think he likes me! Then Dallas the Black Lab came over and we both attacked her! What a FUN night! Then I got to sit next to Hallie the German Shephard, Dang that puppy is big! we are the same age and she is twice my size! Anyway we got to play behind the instructors back, we aren't suppose to but Mom let me just to shut me up!

I got an new collar again! I broke my new one that Mom bought for me on Thursday, what can I say, I'm a frisky dog! I like to run!

Anyway, I slept all the way home and all through then night, I was still tired this morning when Dad left for work. I'll be ready for mom this afternoon when she comes to feed me lunch and let me out to play! Heehee.
