A friend of a friend had moved into a new place and his new landlord forbid him from keeping Rokko so he was going to put him in a shelter and instead I offered to take him. I only ever planned to foster him because I have a dog already and although they love each other my house just isn't big enough for two pit bull mix dogs.
Rokko is still a puppy, he's only a year old and still requires a lot of training. His previous owners did not teach him anything and he was often outside instead of inside. I try to work with him as much as I can but he's very skidish and the way he acts shows signs of abuse. He is hyper, playful, super loving, and doesn't like to be alone. He's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known but it would be selfish of me to keep him here. He needs a home where someone can work with him and train him a little but each day and he would do best if he was the only dog, at least until he is properly trained. Like I previously said, he gets along more than perfectly with my baby girl but with the amount of training and the lack of attention span mixed with fear it makes it difficult. If you are not willing to put in a whole lot of work with a dog then please do not contact me. Rokko is so special and can be such a perfect new member to any family but he needs someone to need him and to be patient. If you are confident you can make him happy and teach him the ways of being a dog then please feel free to contact me!. Thank you!

Lots of love and affection! The more you cuddle, the happier he is.
He's a lover not a fighter. He doesn't like to see or hear people fight (even play fight) he gets scared and cries.
Anything he can chew on! I tend to buy nothing but hard rubber toys because they are the only things that last a little while with two pitbulls running around.
I feed him beneful dry and usually add either wet food or gravy/soup/broth.
He loves new smells just like every other dog so I take him around the whole neighborhood.
He knows sit, he knows "get in your bed" (which he lays down in his crate), and up (he can jump VERY high). He's learning stay and lay down.
